I've always bought New Balance because I can find them in wide width (4E). I was a bit disappointed when I went to order this time because I wanted to replace my last pair of sneakers with the exact same item but they seem to have changed slightly. This was the closest I could find to what I had before. These seem comfy at first, but I do find my feet ache a little after having them on for a full day. I'm not sure yet if it's the different model or just that I spent more time on my feet.

Very comfortable sneakers. These sneakers are well made and the in sole are very nice. I bought a 10 2E and they fit perfectly. Very few sneakers fit as well as New Balance. I am very pleased with this purchase and I am thinking of purchasing another pair.

Just what the doctor ordered! I order these shoes for my diabetic mother who has problem with her feet. The wide toe area gives her toes more room and does not rub on her toes. Mother's doctor advised us to order this # of shoe and order them in 4E. This is the 4th pair I have bought.

This seems to be a well built shoe and is very comfortable, too. It is still brand new and time will tell. I only wish the finish was smooth and not brushed as the bushed leather will tend not to clean up as well. I based my size off my old New Balance shoes. I wear a 10-D in street shoes and a 10 1/2 -2E with this shoe. Fits wll!

These NB 608 shoes fit perfectly. With the proper insert, they are comfortable as a 1300 series trainer shoe. This is my second pair. They last about 9 months of daily wear for work or a casual use.. The heal padding is the first thing to go but that has been true of all my New Balance shoes. I'm sure I will buy them again.

I purchased these for my boyfriend that needs really wide shoes due to an accident. They were perfect right off the bat, and he really needed them because his old shoes were literally falling off his feet! Great shoes and shipped quickly!

Sizing has apparently changed since my last purchase of the exact same shoe about a year ago. I've worn this same style for years, buying multiple pairs throughout that time. Although I still comfortably wear my 10.5 size from last year, both of the new pairs are about a half size too small. Rather than deal with multiple returns, I sent both pairs back and will have to try on in a brick and mortar store since the sizing now appears to be inconsistent.

I only buy and wear New Balance 608's as my everyday shoe, I've been wearing the 608's since version 1 and I won't wear another shoe for all day use. I buy the EE or the EEEE and they fit perfectly for my wide feet, they are comfortable, long lasting and I know they will fit great. A great shoe for a good price.

I am a nurse. I work 12 hour shifts on a med-surg unit. I have worn the 608v4 for many years. It is reasonable price and fit from the first time I put them on to the last. An automatic buy for me.

I've wanted the suede classic Pumas for over 10 years. Glad I bought them. Great quality shoe. It fits as expected, I'm a 10.5 and the 10.5 fit great.

My only complaint is that it did not come with white shoe laces as a second option. I prefer to go with white shoe laces on black sneakers. I bought locally some white laces, but it would have been better if the product provided this option out of the box.

My 3rd pair of these shoes. The color combo (grey with white stripes) goes with pretty much everything and looks quite good. When I buy new denim, the suede stains easily, but not the fault of the shoe really. New denim often bleeds color for a bit. They break in quickly and are quite comfy.

Great looking shoe. I got lots of compliments on them. They aren't the most comfortable shoe. But they fit reasonably well and I think they'll break in enough. I basically loosened the laces completely and they were OK to wear to work.

When you look like this you don't have to fit perfectly. Also they seem pretty tough. I predict that I will still have them five years from now. I would buy them again.

Apparently Amazon doesn't like negative reviews about their so called "authentic" Uggs boots. My review was removed. My honest opinion. They are fake, don't waste your money and I'll be contacting uggs about it.

I usually need a size 8 in a boot, and initially ordered a size 8, which turned out to be too big - exchanged it for the 7, which is a little tight getting on but fits perfectly and is much more comfortable.

True to size and comfortable. Great for summer or resort wear, as they can be dressed up or go very casual.

I got these as a gift for Christmas last year. Within a week, three buttons had fallen off. I wrote the company to complain, and they told me I could order buttons off their site. If the extra buttons were free (which they very well may have been), even that would not have solved my problem because I would have either had to sew them on myself (I am NOT very crafty, so that would have been a fail) or I would have had to pay to have someone sew them on. The boots are really cute and comfortable, but the customer service was horrible. Also, the buttons should not have been falling off after one week of VERY light wear. I would call that a defective product and feel I should have been able to exchange for a new pair, but that option was never offered to me.

I love them! I'm a size 11 womens they were a bit tight and were pushing on my toes but i've been wearing them with thin socks for a week and they have started to lossen up and become really comfortable. Bear paw recommends a tight fit as they will stretch over time. I would recommend wearing thin socks or nylons for the 1st few weeks around the house until they break in a bit and gradually working up to wearing thicker socks. I saw someone mention getting a size bigger but i think after awhile you would be swimming in them. Warmest boots ever!

Couldn't beat the price, excellent value! In a normal shoe I wear a nine but in the store 9's were too small so I ordered a ten in these, which are a little big but I do have more of a narrow to medium foot, I just wear a thick sock with them. Got them in grey and they're beautiful, nice neutral.

They fit as expected, are warm and comfortable. Only thing that might be considered off was the color. It looked more green online. Turns out to be more brownish. That was not important to me so I'd recommend them highly.

the standard shipping was very slow. The sizes are not true to size, run somewhat small. However, I kept the boots cuz I didn't want to wait any longer. I do love Bearpaw boots though they make a great boot. I would recommend buying Bearpaw. My husband wanted to buy me Ugs however I love their Bear paw so much I stuck with them. I wear them about half of the year and they lasted me about 1 year.

sooo i really like the bearpaw brand, much much cheaper than buying uggs and just as good of quality. the only reason why i am giving this particular pair a 3 star is because the color is a little deceiving... maybe it is just me but the picture looks like a brown to me, but when i got them, they are like a gross green brown. similar to the color of goose crap. i still kept them because like i said i like this brand. but just wanted to give a heads up about the color.

I just received these boots. Obviously, I can't comment on how warm they will be, but I can say that they are really cute and comfortable. Unfortunately, the 8s I bought are just a tad too small. I'm not sure if the boots run small or if my feet are getting bigger. I do think they will not be comfortable when I am wearing thick socks, so back they go in exchange for 8.5s. Also, I purchased the fossil color. They are a kind of grayish-tan color, a nice change of pace from the usual black shoes I buy. One last comment, I am a huge fan of shoes I can easily slip on and off. These are great boots for just that reason. I can't wait to receive the proper size for me and start wearing them.

        *****Updated Review*****

It has now been about two months since I have been regularly wearing these boots. I love how they look, but I am not as happy with them as I thought I would be. In my initial review I said that the 8s were too small, but I now realize that it wasn't the boot that was small, but rather, the shaft of the boot is small. With the 8s it was hard to pull the boot on. I mistook that to mean that the boot itself was small. Now I know that's not true. The 8.5s are too big. I am able to pull them on and off easily, but even with thick wook socks, they are too big. I am still able to wear them, but they pull my socks down and my feet kind of flop around in them.

Additionally, these boots are NOT good on ice or slippery surfaces. There is absolutely no grip to the soles. I have a pair of Bogs that have better traction. Too bad the Bogs aren't as warm as the Sorels. That is a plus about the Sorels. They are most definitely warm.

I really like the look of these Sorels because they are simple. They look like snowboarding boots. And, I think if they fit properly they would be comfortable like athletic shoes, but that's not the case.

Oh well, it's not a total loss. I'll still wear the boots, but I will only wear them when it is really cold out. If the temps are in the 30s, I'll wear my Bogs.

Bought these for the wife, she said these are the Uggs for a fraction
of the price. They need to sew in a pull on loop to the back of each boot
to get on easier. She said these are for cold weather only, but seem to
like them. Very good price point.

The BearPaw short boots that I purchased are really nice, but
they run small. I really like the BearPaw boots (I have 2 other

means that I need to contact sender to ensure that I order
        the correct size.

These boots look just like Uggs from the outside and seem durable like Uggs. The inside is soft, but not as soft as Uggs. Very warm and comfy. Only downside is they didn't have my size. I wear 13 or 14 women's and the largest they had were 12s so I have to squeeze into them.

I really love this shoe for running. I don’t know the exact dynamics for shoe (slept thru that class) but it has a really sturdy feel on the foot, as in not flat. The look of the shoe is so-so, but that is subjective and irrelevant. What you see is definitely what you get. Price is a little high though it’s worth it.

Great sneakers! Fit perfectly! Great arch support! I constantly have a problem with my arches and these sneakers have great arch support. They are super comfortable, land look great. These are my gym sneakers. I wear them while working out, and if i'm gonna run on the treadmill. Great price and was very impressed by the fit, look, and comfort. Highly recommend for the great price!

Went to the shoe store tried out the same brand. Went off that size and bought on Amazon. They fit perfect. This is my second set of shoes I've bought on Amazon. I run a lot and my podiatrist recommends changing often depending on the miles I put. Keeps my knees and feet from hurting. So I change them about every 3-6 months running about 3-4 miles 2-3 times a week. Asics in general is my trusted brand.

Bought these for my husband as he has very very wide flat feet and it is hard to find shoes in his size. Not many brands in stores make wide shoes let alone EXTRA wide. Stylish and comfortable too.

I'm writing this review only hours after I got these boots, and I am SO excited to try them out outside in the cold weather! I'm in Madison, Wisconsin, and this week is going to stay in the 30's and even dip into the 20's (Fahrenheit!). I will update this review accordingly, and come back in a couple months to write details on durability when it comes to some real winter weather (hello blizzards and -20 degrees!!).

The first thing I noticed out of the box is that they don't have any weird smells, which is great. The outside smell faintly of leather, because that's what they're made of. I looked up the company, and Bearpaw's boots are outside = leather, inside = sheepskin. So if you're thinking about using these in snow like me, we need to waterproof these babies! Luckily I have a spray already to use on them.

The inside of these boots is SO SOFT. If I wore these barefoot (which you can, apparently, but for me - ew! I get sweaty feet), my feet would be in heaven. I tried wearing them with bare legs to see how soft it felt (because against your hands it doesn't feel that soft, it's got kind of a soft, but wooly feel to it) and against my legs it felt so fluffy and silky, so airy!! And warm!! None of the color (I ordered Chocolate) has transferred to my socks/pants. Awesome!

Also, from ALL the pictures I browsed through on the internet, none of them had any good views of the inner lining. I really wanted to judge how thick it was before I ordered, but since I couldn't find any good pictures, I just trusted the reviews saying that they're warm enough for really, really cold winters. And the lining is decently thick - I'd say it's about an inch thick, although over time it might get compressed a little with constant wear. The soles are a different color wool than the rest (it's white instead of chocolate), but still soft and fluffy. It feels like I'm walking on down pillows, mmmm! I put up several pictures of my boots if anyone is interested - of all angles, including the lining! Here is a link to my video of the boot:
        [...]

Some of the reviews said that after a month or two the lining starts wearing off and comes off on your clothes... The lining looks pretty well made, so I don't know if that will happen, but I will update this review if it does start coming off. Hopefully not... I am really loving these!

The bottom of the boots is made of really nice, sturdy but flexible rubber and I can see this really holding up for Wisconsin winters! So excited!! It's as thick as my other winter boots, so that's great news.

        SIZE:
I read so many reviews about what size to order, and it just got confusing. There were pretty much equal amounts of reviews telling you to order down a size, or order up a size. So I went to the Bearpaw website and they suggested ordering up a size...

I usually wear a 9.5 exact (no size 9, no size 10), so I decided to order a size 10. It makes sense, because there's a layer of fluff that you have to consider when you think about how much space there is for your feet. The size 10 fits me really well. When I first put them on, they seemed a tad bit small, but after walking around in them for a few hours, they're already form-fitting to my feet.

Basically: when you order, think about what your size would be when considering an extra inch of lining around your feet, and also remember that you don't want to order too large, because they do form around your feet after some use (that lining will be squished by your walking!). If you're a half size, order the next whole size like I did. I can't speak for people who have whole sizes because I didn't have that situation, but hopefully a size up won't be too big!

On an interesting side note, I think I remember that the Bearpaw website says you can wear these in any kind of weather - and I think that's just weird? How could you wear these on a hot summer day?? These are real winter boots and your feet would hate you for that, hah!

        **** UPDATE ************************ UPDATE ************************* UPDATE ******************************************
        January 2, 2014

So good news everyone! Turns out that the fur lining does NOT rub off on your clothes/socks. I think it kind of did like the second or third day I wore it (probably because it was getting broken in), but it wasn't even that much, and after that it has NEVER happened again. The color never has rubbed off on anything, even in the beginning.

So at this point I would DEFINITELY recommend that you DO NOT buy a size up if you can get your exact size. Only order a little up if you have a half size, just because they don't sell half sizes. After breaking them in they really form fit to your feet, so don't freak out if they feel a little tight when you first get them (it's just that the lining hasn't been squished by your feet yet - think of it like getting super fluffy slippers that mold to your feet).

The boot itself is holding up phenomenal, it's so worth the money! The rubber sole looks barely touched or scuffed or worn down at all and I've been wearing them daily since I got these (so mid-November til beginning of January at this point). I used them to walk to class every day (a mile or two) and I have been running and tramping through half a foot of snow with them. Waterproofing them helps them keep dry and also miraculously keeps all traces of salt stains off - they literally look like I just got them like last week, it's amazing.

As for the stitching on the sides - before I bought them I read some reviews saying that the thread has come apart on the stitching on the outside. So far for me, the stitching has been doing really great - I think there were a couple tiny fly aways at first but it's inconsequential to the strength of the stitches (holding up real well) and no more are occurring over time.

So finally the weather has been getting really cold here (this week we are getting -45 degrees Fahrenheit with the windchill factor and several inches of snow), and I never leave the house without these boots! Actually if I wear them inside the house my feet get too warm. These keep me warm no matter what I'm doing (hiking, walking on frozen lakes, walking through snow and wind). Because of these boots, I actually don't care about the weather outside anymore! I never worry about my toes getting cold, which was a HUGE problem with some of my other boots I've had over the years, because even though the boots were thick and sturdy on the outside (hard rubber or leather), they just didn't keep my toes warm. These are life savers for a Wisconsin girl in Winter!! I don't care about people who say they would never buy them because they look like uggs - I bought these for warmth and boy do they deliver. I have always gone for comfort when it comes to apparel and this is going to be a staple of mine if they don't discontinue these for the next few decades.

I bought these a few months ago, never dreaming I would wind up touring Russia in winter. In Siberia, it got as cold as -28F. These boots SAVED MY LIFE!! My feet often get cold, but they stayed toasty warm and dry in these, even when I walked through a patch of snow that reached my calves. And they still look GREAT, too!! Extremely well-crafted. These boots are one of the best purchases I have EVER made. They blow their competition out of the water. Recommend 100%.

Yes, buying shoes online can be a frustrating experience but I wasn't going to pay what they charge in store. These are an excellent deal, if only they fit. I read multiple reviews that said they fit true to size but were initially tight. My toes are still crammed after constant wear over a month. I can tolerate them on shopping trips and will wear them out around the yard but that's where it ends. They pinch my toes but are exceptionally cozy and warm. Minus my toes my feet would absolutely love these, they really do form to your foot. The material is very high quality. I wear a size 9 and sometimes that's too large depending on the manufacturer, especially in boots. I was disappointed because I wore them, expecting a break in period, so I cannot return. A ten on the other hand I tried on at a store for the heck of it and they were way too big. A 9.5 probably would have been perfect but alas, per usual, no half sizes online. Love the idea of the boots, my recommendation is if you are a half size, for example, 8.5 go up a half size to a 9 and you will love these boots. If you wear a regular size and go up a size, i.e.: from a 9 to a 10, they'll probably be too big. Obviously everyone has different feet but this would be my suggestion.

Bought these for my wife as an x-mas gift. fit was a bit tight in the shaft but stretched out after a few days. After 16 days they tore along the seam on the top of the boot...we put a white piece of paper in them to show the size of the tear they were worn very little not enough to tear so easy. the quality seemed well enough they seemed sturdy up to that point, also I might point out that it was an odd place for them to tear considering you pull them on it seems as though they would have ripped from the back. Amazon was wonderful as always made the return easy and issued a refund as soon as they received the item.

I just received my Chocolate Bearpaws. After reading some reviews, I was a little nervous about the size. I take a size 8 but in some cuts of shoe or boot I can take an 8.5. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly! My feet were in heaven as soon as I put them on. I truly cannot tell the difference between these and the Uggs. Someone commented that there was no sheepskin fur on the insole where your foot rests. There sure is and it feels great. If I had gone a size up, which for me would have been a 9, it definitely would have been way too big. These fit the same as the Uggs, at least for me. Color was true to pic. I can't see spending a whole lot of extra money when these are just as good. Also, someone said that the other brands are made in Australia and Bearpaws is made in China. You better take a look again. They are ALL made in China. None of them are made in Australia! Some said that the outer skin of the others is sheepskin while Bearpaw if Cow leather. Well, yes, Bearpaw exterior is "Suede", not sheepskin. But "Suede" is more durable, in my opinion. Both are delicate materials. However, again read labels carefully on other known brands. They all say "Leather upper"....."sheepskin lining". None of them say "sheepskin upper" so I don't know. I have a feeling they are all the same. Bearpaw does make a fake suede and fake fur at a much lesser price. These (Emma short) is the real deal. I can't wait to sink my feet in these when the weather gets colder. My friend's "Bearpaws" held up better for her than her more expensive brand. For the money, this can't be beat. And remember, for all suede and sheepskin, you need to waterproof and stainproof them before using them in rain and snow. None of these brands claim to be waterproof or stainproof. They are suede in nature, after all. So you need to be careful. I will update again once I've gotten through the winter with them to let you all know how they held up. I will not be wearing them every day at the exclusion of all other shoes and boots so I plan to enjoy these for many years to come! Stitching and seaming seem to be the same as other brands as well. Can't go wrong for the money! Came quickly. Packaging was great. Got mine directly through Amazon, not third party merchant. Sometimes that can make a difference. When dealing directly with Amazon, I have never had a problem.

I just got these boots yesterday. For the longest time I could not figure out what the big deal was about this type of boot. Before purchasing these I went into the UGG store and tried on a pair of their boots. With UGG and bear paw I really don't know the difference. You're basically paying for one brand over the other. If you are looking for practicality and comfort more than a label, this is the best bang for your buck! I like bear paw because they make half size shoes (I'm 9.5). I love these so much I bought one pair in gray and one in caramel color and both pairs combined are still way cheaper than one pair of UGGS. My first time wearing the gray ones, I wore them for 12 hours straight. They fit perfectly and true to size. I didn't have any discomfort or complaints and my feet were toasty warm all day in very cold weather. I am completely happy with my purchase!

These boots lasted less than 3 months for me. I have bought this same pair before and they lasted at a minimum the entire fall/winter. But they have slits for grip on the soles and from standard use, the slits have split all the way into the cushion on the bottom of the boots. There is probably a better tread pattern than this one.

Update: I submitted a warranty request through Bearpaw on January 10th, they approved the request on 1/16 and now it is 1/25 and I still have no tracking number like it has shipped yet. It may have shipped and I just don't have it yet. But 2 weeks in Ohio winter with no wearable boots is annoying. I don't buy lots of extra shoes, I just buy what I need so I didn't have a backup expect heavy snow boots. I feel like I should have just bought another pair and wrote these off instead of getting the warranty request.

Sadly this is not our first, second, or third pair of bear Bearpaw boots. I believe this pair which I received was stuck in storage for so long with hot conditions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Living in Upper Michigan, I definitely know a great pair of snow boots when I wear them, and THESE are truly GREAT! I'm actually from Florida and moved up here two years ago. In that two years, I have owned about 6 pairs of boots, TRYING to find a pair that would actually keep my toes warm! I've tried some of the best names in winter boots and NONE of them have done the job. None, that is, until these! My toes are actually toasty warm, even when I'm out in sub-zero temps for HOURS at a time! I absolutely LOVE these boots! They fit EXACTLY as I expected. Having said that, I ordered a size and a half SMALLER than I normally wear in other shoes, simply based on reviews and comments here on Amazon. They actually fit well enough that I can wear these with one OR TWO pairs of thick winter socks, although I don't anticipate ever NEEDING to wear with two pairs of socks.
Most boots that claim to keep your feet warm in temps down to -40 degrees F are LYING. The comfort rating on these boots is probably accurate. I've actually worn them in temps down to -35 (with the wind chill) and my feet have NEVER been cold, not even my toes! As I said earlier, it's my toes that usually get cold in all of my other (more expensive) snow boots. If these last even ONE of our brutal winters, I will be THRILLED with them. I will say that I bought a bottle of suede/nubuck protectant to make them "water proof" and it has also done it's job. I've already worn these boots in a couple FEET of snow and NEVER had wet feet or lower legs.
At the time that I bought these boots, I believe I paid like $33 for them. I've owned other boots that cost well OVER $100 and NEVER been satisfied with them. This is, by FAR, the best $33 I have EVER spent. On ANYTHING.
Do your feet (and TOES) a favor and BUY these boots! You can't possibly go wrong with these, especially if you live anywhere in the Northern Tier.

PS- I have not been compensated in ANY way for my HONEST review of these snow boots. If Amazon feels the need to compensate me, it will be GREATLY appreciated, though. ;)

When I received the boots today, I noticed that the box was pretty banged up. I figured maybe during the sorting process that something happened. But when I opened the box, there were many noticeable areas where the boots were actually worn from use. With all of the positive reviews, I was not expecting to receive used boots!

I own a pair of bearpaw "Kathy" boots. They are warm and comfortable, so I thought the brand was good in general. I wanted a pair of boots that would go with everything (as opposed to my supercute aztec kathy's!), so I went with black Lauren Tall's - based on good reviews.

My first impression of these boots are UBER CHEAP. Externally, they *look* okay, but as soon as I slipped my foot in the flat, uncomfortable footbed was a surprise. Let me say, I LOVE flat shoes, I have chronic pain in my foot, and flat shoes for me are the way to go. But these boots lacked the plush, cloud like padding of the Kathy boots, and it was hard and stiff. Like cheapo boots you'd buy at a grocery store...

I don't believe it is real wool lining. When I took the boots off the black "wool" had shed all over my pants. Never had that problem with my other bearpaws. I sadly returned these. I do NOT recommend.

I love these boots. I read several reviews that said these run big, but that wasn't the case for me. I usually wear a 7.5. I bought a 7 in these boots. They were a little tight when I first put them on (I even thought about exchanging them for an 8). After I wore them a little they seemed to stretch just a little bit and they fit fine now. They are super cute and warm. I like how these are a little taller than most ugg-style boots.

I bought these boots to have something warm to wear to work, since our office building is very old and drafty. While they serve their purpose of keeping me warm, the shaft looks like banana peels being pulled back. I guess if I just stood in them and didn't walk the boots would not flare out as they do. But we all know we cannot get through any day just standing in 1 place and never taking a step. I should have just bitten the bullet and bought the other, more expensive brand. I've only owned them for like 2 months and have worn them about once a week. They look like untied combat boots where the sides and tongue fold out and down. Not impressed whatsoever with the style. I've even thought about getting a giant stapler to keep them more together/secure, but that's pretty lame to do. This will be my 1st and last pair of Bear Paws.

My daughter loves these boots. Value and comfort for sure! She had one pair for about 2 years until they wore out.

When I bought her a new pair in gray a few weeks ago I noticed that depending on color and size, the price varied. No problem, I get it is a matter of supply and demand. The ones I ordered were $43.

Then last week I also ordered another pair in black, and the price was just over $50. Not a problem, I felt it was still a great deal. I finalized placing the order, then today I went back on Amazon to check the delivery status,. I found that my order had disappeared, the boots were now moved to my "wish list" and the price was up to about $83. What's up, Amazon? - How can the price go up over $23 AFTER the order has already been placed? I cry foul about this. The boots were advertised at the $50 price, I ordered them at that price and the order should have been fulfilled.

I got them in hickory cheetah colored and I really like the lil something extra it adds to my outfits. Growing up I never liked this style of boots but now that I've gotten my sec pair I actually like them. Their a must for those cold winter nights and days. The Abigail have a lil less fur than the regular bear paws and they are a lil harder to get on especially if you have wide feet/ ankle's ( I have neither). Will be purchasing more in different color and styles because their great quality for the price u pay.

I would love to give these 5 stars. They are cute, versatile boots, look very warm, arrived quickly. But they are just too small for me. If you have a wide foot like me, beware. I have a wide left foot (ok, cankle) from edema. Couldn’t even get the left one on. I’ve had other brands that come in wide width that fit great. These don’t come in wide width. I saw they ran a bit big in some reviews & took a chance. My bad. Just putting this rating out there for anyone like me who might be considering these. Everyone else, you will love them! I really was looking forward to them & really wished they fit! :( Even considered keeping them, just in case, but had to return). Hope they fit all who buy! :)

I like these boots except next time I will order them without buttons on the side. They are easy to put on but the bottom button on the left boot had a large knot in the elastic that holds it on that wore a hole in my ankle skin the first time I wore them. I really wanted to post a good review. Sorry Bearpaws. I had tried a 9 on at a local store and they were great. Got such a great price on Amazon that I took off the button and resewed it on with strong thread. Waited for ankle wound to heal and now I'm wearing them in the snow. They are warm and comfy. I normally wear a 9. They are cute. A taller boot would have been handy this year with as much snow as we've all ready received.

So, after wanting a pair of "fuzzy" boots for years, but not wanting to pay bookoo $$$ for Uggs, I discovered Bearpaw. Where do I begin? These boots are sooo comfy! Great for wearing without socks. They keep your feet warm and dry but are not overly hot. Some other reviews I read said that they ran small, but I ordered a size 9 (I usually wear an 8 or 9 depending on the shoe) and they fit perfectly! I decided on the abigail style because I have large-ish calves and was worried about being able to get the boot on. This style is also great because I can easily tuck my boot cut jeans into it (I am not one of the privileged few who look good in skinny jeans). The sole is sturdier than it looks in the pictures. As for traction, this style doesn't look like it would be that safe to wear on icy days, but I haven't tried it out yet. Probably better for going to the mall than shoveling your driveway. Anyway, I ordered black (because it goes with everything!) but can definitely see myself ordering more colors in the future! Glad that I finally decided to get some of these boots!

BEARPAW is a quality boot and a cost effective alternative to UGG (for my 8 year old daughter).
We have been buying them for a few years now, 1~2 pairs per season.
We loved the color of these boots but unfortunately they are too small and not the size 5 that we ordered.
In the photo I placed them heel to heel with a locally bought size 5 BEARPAW boot.

I'm a recent convert to this style of shoe, but I work in a really casual office that's FREEZING and needed something comfortable and warm - these are so perfect, they're my new favorite winter boot. Suede is great quality, as is the Sherpa lining.

Sizing Note: I've read many reviews that stated they got the shoe way too big, and others recommending that you go to Bearpaw's website to figure out the correct size - both of those points are incorrect. Bearpaw recommends sizing 1-2 sizes UP because of the thick lining of the shoe - I believe that's why people are mistakenly ordering the wrong size.

I went with another reviewer who suggested to order a size down because the lining will pack in around your foot and you'll end up with more room - so thankful for that suggestion - I'm a 6.5, ordered a 6 - the first few days of wear, yes the shoes were tight - but sure enough the lining has packed inside and they now fit perfectly - there's actually enough room for me to put an insert in these so I have more arch support.

The first time I ordered these I had to send them back and get a size up because they were WAY TOO SMALL. Like my foot was squished and my calf was suffocated. I'm normally a size ten so I ended up getting these in a size 11 and they were way better. The calf was still a little tight though so if you don't have super skinny calves either then you may even want to go two sizes up. The packaging I received the boots in was terrible- like went through a shredder and survived terrible. I have a feeling it may have been because it wasn't through prime shipping when I got these? I don't know. I think in the description it tells you that these shoes will stretch- they don't - what you feel is what you get, so make sure they feel good. My boots are still in really good quality and I have worn them periodically over the last few months and they've held up really well. They are super cute too so I'm overall happy that I got them.

The product is great! However the packaging appeared to be nice at first since the boots came in their "bear paw" box, but when I opened the box not only did I find the shoes, but I received an additional half-empty bag of chips.
The ship crumbs were all over the shoes! Gross! I was able to wipe the chips off... But why?

My boots are still in really good quality and I have worn them periodically over the last few months and they've held up really well. They are super cute too so I'm overall happy that I got them.

Cozy boots for Alaska winters and great price compared to similar products. I have like 5 pairs of bear paw boots and these are my least favorite though. The And? They're not treated with waterproof stuff. Boo. Also, the soles have NO traction whatsoever... what the heck is that all about? Also, since they don't come in half sizes, I had to get them a whole size bigger to allow for fluffy socks. But this causes the support inside the shaft of the boot to dig into the back of my heel. The Good? I have bunions and the toe box is generous and doesn't squash my tootsies. Gray is a fairly unusual boot color to begin with, but these are awesome cause they are exactly the right color to match pretty much and shade of gray. I love that the lining is also gray. Overall recommended.

I've purchased 3 pairs of Bearpaw's of Emma 12" in the last 3 years or so and so far, the latest 2 pairs are the best due to the redesign of the sole. The lst pair I purchased, the sole cracked immediately after wearing them, parts of it actually fell off so, they became unwearable and I spent aprox. $40 but had to throw them away.

The redesign hasn't caused any sole cracking or loosening from the suede boot. There is a slight issue tho. I stepped in my cat's throw up (gross I know) and it got into the deep tiny grooves of the design in the sole. I had to use toothpicks to dig it out because using water & a scrub brush could not reach inside those tiny grooves. It took forever to clean each tiny groove and the toothpicks would break in the process. This was so frustrating!

The sole design is cute but not practical due to the fact that you're going to step in something eventually and if you want to keep the soles clean and not track goop around, you'll need to reach the goop in those teeny grooves. Uggs don't have grooves on their soles (or my pair doesn't) and they're much easier to keep clean. Bearpaw should design the soles so that they can be cleaned easily and so no yucky goop collects inside those teeny tiny grooves.

Edit: Last winter (2017) the soles split on these as well. Even with the new soles, it didn't keep them from splitting. I never wear them outside so, these must be fragile just like the former soles.

I have a pair of Uggs from 10 yrs ago and the soles are just as intact as the day I purchased them. I know they're very expensive but I've purchased now so many pairs of Bearpaw....I could have just bought a 2nd pair of Uggs! Sometimes, quality IS expensive and there's no getting around it ...darn it, it's just the truth.

These are my fourth pair of Bearpaw boots. The last two pairs I had last me a few years before I decided they weren't acceptable to wear outside of the house anymore lol. These boots are super comfortable and plush when you first buy, but the inner sole does start to wear away after a while and it just feels flat in the shoe, not plushy and soft. One the up side, the rest of the shoe wears like your favorite pair of jeans each time you wear them. They definitely keep your feet warmer than a pair of sneakers or flats and are stylish to boot. I'm glad that Bearpaw decided to get rid of the metal logo hardware that they used to put on the back of the heel and the side of the boot. My hardware came off all of my boots and looked so tacky. I probably could have gotten another year out of those if it wasn't for that. I love this company and these boots, and will definitely be buying a few more pairs.

As an aside: Buy the super hydrophobic spray LiquidOff to preserve the suede on these. You won't regret it and they sell it on Amazon.

But why?

So far, so good. I have mostly been wearing them around my house and for Quick trips outside. They are much higher quality than I was expecting given the reviews but they seem really well stitched, sturdy, and I love that they have rubber soles. I bought a 7 which is what I usually wear and they fit comfortably with socks and there's just a little extra room if you're not wearing socks. The boot fits comfortable around my calves (14in at widest point), not too snug or lose (I can fit my hand in there). I also waterproofed them using a spray and have not noticed a huge difference in color so that is nice. Happy to have these for winter, Will update if anything changes .

Update: After only occasional light wearing, think quick trips outside with dogs and one wear to work, some stitching on the outside of the boot has started to come undone and the fabric has become loose :( Disappointinh after such a short amount of time and very little wear. They are otherwise very comfortable and warm!

These are very warm, rugged, comfortable, nice-looking ugg-type shearling boots. However, they run very small in length with very little room for toes, while at the same time they are also too wide. I normally wear a women's size 11, but I purchased size 12 since so many of the reviews say to go up a size, and I'm glad I did. These 12s are still a little on the short side & crowding my toes, while simultaneously slipping/too wide in the heel. Makes me think these are assembled on a Men's last, not Women's. Also, the shaft is not sheepskin but cowhide, with an extra layer of sheepskin/fleece on the inside, which makes them stand up & look really fat. Ok if you have thinner legs like I do, I guess, but on someone who has larger calves these boots simply would not work. I'm keeping this pair because the price was great, but next time I'll get Uggs.

Since purchasing these shoes, I have hardly had any issues with my feet, lower back, or sciatic nerve. The support in this shoe is excellent. If you have any kind of feet issue, I highly recommend these shoes. AND, they are really cute, too!

Another data point on sizing: I wear 11.5 in most shoes. I bought the 11 and the 12 to see which worked best for me (with the inserts). The 11 fit snugly with just a pair of regular athletic socks - a little room at the heel but pretty tight around the toes. The 12 was somewhat loose with just these socks but not uncomfortably so.

With a thicker sock (Dickies brand heavyweight crew) AND the thinner athletic sock (Puma), the 12 fits perfectly. The 11 is too snug. However, with just the thick socks, the 11 is perfectly snug (which you want in boots since they lack the ankle support that laced shoes provide) and the 12 still has a little too much room. Since the boots are so warm already, I don't want to wear more than the heavyweight crew socks for fear my feet will sweat too much. So, the smaller or larger size could be right for you if you are a half-size - just depends on what type of socks you are going to wear. I went with the 11s.

I gotta say, I've never been this disappointed with Asics shoes in my life. This is my favorite brand and I've probably purchased Asics half a dozen times, but I will never buy this model again. The shoes are extremely uncomfortable. They irritate my feet when I exercise and leave my feet on the verge of blisters. It's so bad that I can't wear them the next day. I'm not sure if maybe they run too big, but that really surprises me because my shoe size doesn't fluctuate and I have always purchased a size 10, sometimes even 10 1/2. Also, if your feet overpronate I do not recommend these at all as the support on these shoes make my overpronation worse.

        3-month update:
The shoes are now even worse! If there were was an option to choose 0 stars, I would lower my initial 1-star review. It's only been 3 months and the shoes are actually falling apart. I've had Asics shoes that I've worn for hours, 6 days a week, when I used to do marching band that have held up for literally years, but 3 months in and the soles are detaching. I only wear them twice a week for about 2 hours each day when I go to the gym. I'm beginning to think these are not real Asics and maybe I got a knock-off sent to me. Money down the drain :(

My husband, toddler, and I have all attempted to get these boots on the toddler's feet several times -- never with any luck. It's like his foot can't get from the leg part into the boot part. They're cute, and warm when I have them on my hand, but I just can't get them on the toddler -- which makes them pretty useless. An older kid who is more able to help dress themselves might not have this issue, but for our 2 - 2.5 year old, these boots are just too much of a battle. I'm very disappointed, but I don't know if it is the not-helpful-yet age of my kiddo or the product or some of both. (We did get other boots from Target and he goes into those without issue, but the interior design / lining style is very different, so it's hard to compare.) These look like such a good idea, and I really like the idea of the strap around the ankle. I really wish we could get them on him!

Bought for my 3 year old son in size 8. Tough getting his feet in and he screamed and stomped until I took them off. He said they hurt and he’s not usually picky about his feet. The felt insert does not come fully together in the front of the boot allowing part of the inside unfinished boot to touch the leg. Right where the rubber foot meets the canvas upper there is a rubber seam the sticks out pretty far into the inner boot - right at the bend of foot to chin. I’m wondering if this is what caused so much discomfort for him. Returned and ordered Tundra boots which he had and loved but out grew.

The fabric of the upper is itself waterproof but the seam where it joins the waterproof rubber bottom is not waterproof. I will be returning them for another model by the same brand that is "waterproof seam sealed". I should have read more carefully. It is a well thought out design and seems extremely durable. The removable liner is convenient for sizing to the child's foot and for drying out wet boots. It does not come out by accident when the kid just slips their foot in and out. The sinch on the upper collar makes it easy to put the pant leg over or under. We had a second problem where they're too narrow on my child. We do occasionally buy wides for her which will be the next pair we get from Kamik. They work with thin socks which is fine since they seem so warm on their own. But with the water problem and the fit problem it is just not worth the hassle. Overall it seems like a good product if your puddles are not deeper than 2". The "waterproof" upper will shed snow just fine, but not standing in super deep puddles. Try telling a 2 yo that!

Great concept but I'm soooo disappointed in the sizing of these. My son wears a size 7 right now so I got these in a size 8 hoping he will have a little room but the warm insert in these was at best a size 5!!! I ultimately took the warm insert out (which defeats the whole purpose of buying these shoes) and we now just use these for waterproof quality with three pairs of socks for warmth. Without the insert there is plenty of room and they seem to be a true 8. So I would say the flaw is in the design... If I was to get the size that would fit my son's foot with an insert, his feet would look gigantic... given he is 3.5 years old he would probably end up falling all the time.

I love these boots! I usually wear a 7-7.5 and due to all of th reviews I went ahead and bought an 8. They fit great and my feet didn’t slip around in them. Just the perfect amount of snug. I really put them to the test and wore them to help my mother move in to her new house in the snow and ice. First off, it was in the single digits most of the day and I never felt like my feet got cold. I never felt like I was going to slip because the soles are sturdy and have good traction. The snow never soaked through my boots and my feet never got wet. Plus, for being on my feet ALL.DAY (8am-11pm) they were extremely comfortable. I am definitely going to buy another pair, possibly in another color and definitely when I wear this pair out!

Not a bad boot for the price. I wear them a lot. They are very comfortable. The only problem I found was how loose they are around the leg. Even with pants tucked in them there seems to be a lot of room left still. If I wear leggings with them forget it. It looks kind of ridiculous how big they are around my ankle and the top of the boot as well. The buttons and elastic holding them "closed" is merely design and serves no purpose whatsoever. I even doubled up the elastic around the button and it didn't make much difference at all. If you don't mind that sort of thing then by all means get them. The shoe size is right and the tread is thick.

These boots are cute, super comfy and very light weight (but still warm and cozy). B/c others said they run small, I ordered a size larger (I wear 7 and I ordered 8), but they are still way too small for me. Too snug even with bare feet, and I definitely couldn't wear socks with them. Love the boots though so I'm going to exchange them for size 9. I have fairly narrow feet so the width is not an issue, the boots are just unusually small - or the sizes are mislabeled. What the seller claims is size 8, in reality is size 7. Other than that, these are great, soft, fuzzy boots :)
I'm taking off one star b/c of the sizing issue.

This particular boot is a light brown suede and the fit is large. I’m one of those 10 1/2 size women’s size so it’s tricky with Ariat boots. Some 11s will fit fine and 10s are too small. In this case, the 11s were too big and the 10s were perfect. If you love the style and wish they were a tad darker, just use some mink oil on them to protect them and they turn to a nice shade of brown. I love Ariats, but it is a challenge to find a great fit. In this case, I hit the jackpot! Here’s a picture after I used mink oil on them. Perfect shade and perfect fit!!!

These beauties just arrived at my front door. I must say, I was a little shocked they came a day early, but fully satisfied. I opened the box and there was a shoe box inside, inside of the shoe box were two beautifully wrapped boots which upon further inspection were clear of any blemishes and imperfections. I am so happy I ordered these babies! They fit like a dream, perfectly wide around my lower calf--my legs are muscular and wide--and I ordered the 9.5 B MEDIUM because of the reviews about how they fit a little smaller than they should. This is very true, I normally wear a 9, but the 9.5 fits perfectly. :-)

I got these boots out of the box, put them on and headed straight out the door to the barn. If you’ve ever had to break in field boots or tall boots and you dread the break in period, these are nothing like that. As soon as I put them on they were a little stiff and tight across the top of the foot then within 10mins were amazing and perfectly fit my foot. I’ve owned Ariat boots for 20+ years and these did not disappoint. I actually didn’t want to take them off when I got home. The shaft fits my ankle and leg, the footbed is supportive, flexible and comfortable. Highly recommend. Debating on buying another pair, in a different color combo just for shiggles.

These were the first boots I have bought online. Normally, I go to the store and try them on. The last pair I bought was Ariat Fatbaby Collection in 6.5B, they were tight (as all my boots when I first buy them), but after 1-2 weeks they fit good. So... I figured I would order my next pair from Amazon, same brand and collection, and same size. The color is lighter than pictured, which I really like the color they actually are, compared to the picture. The boot fits quite loosely. I can slip my foot in the boot without bending over and yanking it on. Hopefully, the boot will not expand any more, as then it would be too big. I was surprised the boot fit as loosely as it does. I have had them for almost a week, and they seem like they are going to work out. I wouldn't be able to go to a size 6, it would be too small length wise. Overall I really like the boot!

I originally ordered the size 11W, which was nice and wide, but a little bit too long for my foot. I then ordered the same boot from the same seller in a 10.5W and I was surprised to receive a different boot. As you can see from the picks, they look similar from the front, but the sole is completely different and the stitching is different. The real problem is that the 10.5W was much more narrow, The 11W is on the right side in the pics and you can see the difference in width. The 10.5W was good in length for me but much too narrow, I confirmed on the label that it was a wide width, but the fit was totally different from the 11W. Be aware that the fit and style you receive may vary

I needed a good steel toe work boot to wear outside in the elements all year around. I live in Chicago and work outside at O'Hare Air Port. I've only had them for just over a month but can say they are worth the money. These are not winter boots, but can be warn in cold weather, if wearing thick wool socks and using foot warmers.

        Pros
        - Very comfortable once you break them in.
        - Nice looking and goes with everything
        - Steel toe
        - Has a removable soft sole insert
        - Heavy duty stitching
        - Thick leather body thats flexible and doesn't crack
        - Holds in heat when needed and allows heat to escape to prevent feet from sweating
        - Heavy in weight, which equals to a well made boot
        - Water resistant

        Cons
        - Don't have any for now

I do not usually leave reviews but these boots need to be hyped up so that they make them forever. I am a military veteran, current military civilian instructor, automotive hobbyist, and home handyman who is generally always around heavy objects and very dirty, slippery, oily environments a few times every single week both at work and home - and I can honestly say that these are some of the best work boots I have ever owned. Especially for the cost, which is far lower in price than lower quality workbooks such as Doc Martens Industrial (comfortable but not durable even though they have premium pricing) and any other similarly priced boot lot these Cats like Dickies (because they are usually close to $50). Not only were they very comfortable right out of the box, but the slip resistance and oil resistance is noticeably better than any other boot I have ever worn to work (military warehouses, tanks, shipping containers, industrial stuff that flattens toes and ruins work shoes) and they maintain a better clean look that allows me to still wear them with business casual work clothes as well. I could not be more satisfied not only in these boots, but knowing that I can grab another pair in a few years for the same great price.

The only negative is having to spend the time to use a Sharpie to color over the VERY yellow CAT and CATERPILLAR logos so that I am not a walking advertiesement for tractors but I guess that makes them an art project too so right on. Cheers to these boots.

I have now bought two pairs of these boots.

        They are okay.

They are not overly comfortable, but they get the job done and are not terrible.

My first pair lasted...period. Only got a new one when I did because my employer pays $75 towards a new pair every year so...why wouldn't I?

I am a truck driver who both drives and spends quite a bit of time unloading and the toes in these boots certainly have saved me quite a bit of pain and actually become useful for kicking things like pallets around, saving my back a bit.

Point: These are well made, durable, sturdy boots. A good buy for less than $100. The only two things I do not like about them that make these boots lose a star are:

1- The strings kind of suck. They broke fast and are overly stretchy for my liking. This is a minor issue, as nice strings are quite inexpensive (couple of dollars).
2- The boots could be more comfortable and the padding inside wears down within the first few months.

Overall, a solid inexpensive pair of boots that could last up to two years, but I would advise, for comfort sake, replacing at least yearly.

Just received my second pair of these. I got a yr out of the last pair. You may be thinking that 1 yr is not very long for heavy duty boots. For you, probably. Mine are worn 70 hrs a week and put through hell. I WAS buying the $140Timberlands and Wolverines for years and they only lasted 1 yr also. I have a wide foot and sooner or later it tears the stitching away. These are half the price and almost as well built as Wolverines...almost. If you don’t have to buy a pair every year like me then splurge for the big name brands, they’ll be slightly more comfy but won’t last any longer.

This is my third pair of these boots. The other two pairs where comfortable, and lasted a good time. (2 years) This most recent pair has been Very disappointing. In the top of the inside, right behind the steel toe, the material pokes down and rubs on my foot when doing a lot of crouching and kneeling and causes alot of discomfort. And then it stays stuck down, and I have to take the boot off to push it back up. My dad had this same problem with his. Also after purchasing in February, and 2 of those months since then they weren't worn, they are already falling apart at the seams.

Quality for Cat dropped a LOT!!! Fits a bit larger than others in same size and you will notice also the difference in quality. I had to ship it back(easy at Amazon) and went for Cactus and believe me, is WAY WAY better and fits as it should.
Very stiff leather and not what CAT used to be. Have another CAT pair for over ten years now and when you polish those they look like new. These are not made to last....

I bought these boots in November. It's only mid-February and I have to throw them away. I live in Minneapolis, MN and we have winter here. Therefore, I wore my boots pretty much every day - walking my dog, taking public transit, etc. I did not expect these boots to last forever based on the price but I did think I'd at least be able to make it to spring. I was wrong. The seam between the sole and the rest of the shoe has split, meaning I have gaping gashes which let snow seep in. The sole itself seems to be crumbling internally, leading to bumps and holes directly below my heel. The outer materials are flaking and falling off.

I would only recommend these for people who live in warm climates who need boots for a week-long trip North. Even then, you're better off finding something without a zipper which also lets in moisture.

Love these boots. I ordered my usual size, and they fit just right. I live in the Pacific NW so I applied Sno-Seal to mine to prevent the type of water damage I saw in a photo posted by another reviewer. Sno-Seal always darkens the leather, but I actually prefer the slightly darker color. The boot on the left has been Sno-Sealed, the boot on the right has not.

It is difficult to find shoes to fit my wide foot. I have worn the Brooks Adrenalines for several years now. I never realize how worn down my old pair is until I slip into the new ones. They are like putting your foot into a cloud. So soft and cushy. The reason I only gave it four stars is because the arch feels a little too far back for my arch. It is still comfortable despite that one little thing. My other concern is there is no guard on these where my toes always wear a hole. Time will tell. I LOVE the color! I usually don't get much of a choice in my size, so I was super excited to find such pretty ones. I bought a women's size 10 EE. The fit is perfect.

I have been looking for a boot I could wear daily- with leggings, pencil skirts, jeans, or anything- to replace my suede furry winter boots- and these amazing boots have changed my life! As a teacher, I need to be able to make it through the day on my feet- so comfort is important! What I did not expect was that they would be almost as comfy as a pair of slippers, but with that modern appeal and fresh spring look I wanted. I loved them so much I immediately ordered them in black as well. I have bunions on both feet, which can be quite painful with the wrong fit- and the C/D width is just perfect for me. I usually have to size up to accommodate the bunions, which causes all kinds of odd fitting heel slip. etc. With these, I stayed with my real size and just hoped they would be wide enough- and YAY for me!!! I want to wear them everywhere I go.

These boots are great. Stylish and comfortable. I can wear them all day despite the joint problems. Feet do not get hot - perfect summer boots.
I wear 7.5 and I got 7.5 and the size is just right.
On the side note: leather stains. Someone dropped a piece of apricot on the shoe so I had to wipe it with water right away. The area I washed looks darker when it dried. There is no dirty spot from fruit juice. The color is just darker now. So I wiped both boots with water entirely and now they are same darker color. BTW, I like the new color :) So maybe spray them with suede protector before going out.

The boots are well made, clean molds and nice details. I read the reviews and notice 50% said it fits well and 50% said its too large. What wasn't explained is the 1/4" felt wrapped in the boot (the lining everyone was mentioning). The misconception was a inner lining usually meant a cotton polyester fabric. Any how, 1/4" wrap around means an 1/2".

I wear a size 9, the size 9 boot was a nice fit with the felt wrap around my ankle but was very loose above the ankle. I'm have large calves from running but there was still a lot of room which is probably great for stuffing your jeans.

My preference is without the felt. I'm a size 9, It is better to go with a size 8 for a nice fit with adverage to thick socks, or 7.5 for sneaker fit with thin socks. Put it this way, if your feet sweat, get the 8, if they don't get the 7.5.

I bought these when I have to get near the ocean water when it's cold in San Francisco when I do metal detecting. The opening can be closed snug so the water waves will have a harder time going in. The fit is just slightly big, just the way I want it for comfort. The padding and knot will keep my feet from coming out too. I have cheap water boots that is made for the same purpose but with those, a high wave will certainly come in easily.

These boots are alright in comfort and size. The problem is that the company shipped me a pair of boots that should NOT have passed quality control. There is a lace at the top that goes around the boot, meant for tightening down so that you know, snow and such doesn't get IN your boot. Well, after we just got some impressive snow yesterday (18 inches), I go to tighten down the top and low and behold, someone had sewn one of the aglet ends right into the boot. Now, yes, I can tie them, even if it is awkward. The thing is, they sent these, knowing that they were not correct, and at full price. I know that someone noticed it because when I went to tie the boots, I had to first UNtie their first "out of the box strange tie configuration". That's when I noticed it. I'm getting replacements but now I have to drop them off at UPS, which is sort of annoying when you live 20 miles from one. I hope that the quality of the boot surpasses the first impression.

This is my second pair indifferent color. I purchased a lite grey pair for my orthotic insole. I wanted a darker color for winter, so I ordered the black. This work well with the insoles and very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis since May of 2017, tried everything from therapy, shots twice in both feet, 8 different brands of shoes from Vionic, Therafit, Gravity Defyer, and several other brands. I am now having custom insoles made and considering shock therapy. Brooks Ghost has been the best shoe to use with the over the counter insoles, so I am going to use with the new custom insoles when they are completed.

USPS just dropped these off as I was headed out to the barn for my morning chores. We got about 8 inches of snow the other day so I took off my old barn boots and put these on right away. I'm a men's 9.5 but ordered size 10 and the fit is perfect with regular socks on. You won't need heavy socks with these boots as they have a great liner in them. I have a pretty wide foot and like I said going up a half size worked out well. Very comfortable, warm and great traction and they seem like they'll last quite a few years, and I'm pretty rough on my boots. I highly recommend this product as you are getting a lot of bang for your buck.

I always buy cold weather boots 2-3 sizes too big so I can wear heavy wool socks while deer hunting and ice fishing. I also put a foam insole in the bottom for additional insulation. Tight boots will make your feet get cold fast. They seemed a little on the small side. Nonetheless they fit good enough. They are definitely not -40 degree boots but I live in N. Michigan, not the North Pole, so they're fine. My feet got chilly after sitting for a couple of hours on a 34 degree day. These are felt pack boots, not Thinsulate packs (which are warmer) but for the price I can't complain. I had a pair of Ranger cold weather boots with Thinsulate packs and they were awesome, even on the lake when it was 0 degrees but they dry-rotted in less than a year. They were also twice as much money. I gave them a 4 star rating because they're not -40 degree boots as advertised. I supposed if you were hiking your feet wouldn't freeze solid, but they're not for sitting still at -40 for any length of time but they are a good value for the price.

I'm reviewing these after our 2nd purchase. These have been good shoes and made it through a cheer season. We had some Nike's before and my daughter thought these were far better. We only needed a 2nd pair because she grew out of the first pair. They do lose a star because I thought they should have held up a little better. She was only allowed to wear them at practice/lessons and competitions and only inside. She was never allowed to wear them outside. With good care like that, the sole at the toe was coming apart on one shoe. It really should have held up so we could pass these on to someone else who may need shoes but they didn't. They lasted as long as they fit her so I can't complain too much.

These fit me and my size 7 feet. I ordered a 7 in black and that's exactly what I received. I had actually forgotten I had bought these until reviewing my comments I realized that I haven't touched them yet. Just to try on. They fit perfectly right out of the box. I own several pairs of Bearpaw boots and I really like this company and their boots and moccasins. They're well made and if taken care of properly can last several winters. I switch them around so nothing is worn out. They'll still be in decent shape when I'm ready for another pair so I can pass them on. They do stretch with wear. Not a great deal but enough if you're wearing thick socks with them. Plus, they're very cute! Oh! Waterproof them if you're going to be wearing them in wet weather. Besides being half the price (or more) of that other brand.

This review is for Bearpaw Women's Rosie boot.
First a lot of reviews I read before buying these boots said to buy a size up, I do not suggest doing that. I have multiple shearling boots made by different companies and I wear my normal size in all of them. The boots may feel a little tight when you first get them but that is a good thing because they will stretch out a bit with wear.
Okay now on to the boot itself! I really like the style of these boots, and they look very cute on. I like the button detail and the band that loops around the button feels very sturdy which is great because I was a little worried about it being flimsy. The sole on these is awesome! They feel sturdy and tough, more like a real sole and not that almost spongy / cardboard like material that my Ukala's and apparently some Ugg's have as well. I got the "Emerald" color, which I completely love! It is a nice forest green and goes well with so many colors. These boots are warm and comfortable and they feel very well made, I think they will last me for a very long time. I would highly recommend these boots as well as other Bearpaw boots, I know I will be buying more!

I got these today so other than around the house haven’t worn them yet. I’ve been wanting a pair of UGGs but they’re so expensive, and when I read the great reviews on these I had to try them. From the moment I put them on, my feet felt so cozy and warm! Now I’m looking forward to colder weather so I can wear them all the time!

I size larger after reading the reviews, which proved to be a good choice the size up fits well. These boots are very warm and was a good purchase.

Boots are so-so. The color Dark Honey looks very yellow. I like the stretchy button, they are good for my pregnant cankles. The shoes do not have very much cushion, so it is painful on my feet after a few hours because my feet get swollen easily (another pregnancy related symptom hooray!). Overall good value for the price.

They were nice... while they lasted. I’ve had them for less than three months now and the stitching on the emblem came undone in the first week and not long after that the heels were completely worn down, one of the wooden buttons snapped in half, and the soles separated from the shoe. I expected so much better considering how much I spent on these. I bought similar boots that were half the price that outlasted these. And now I need to buy a new pair? Really disappointing tbh.

Great boots that my wife can step in and out of without having to bend down. Warm and comfortable to take the puppy out in the snow. I got these to reduce strain on her back. They exceeded our expectations.

Nice shoes. I like NB and they wear well but they seem to be a bit 'heavy' on the foot. These shoes are partly a breathable mesh which lightens the shoe quite a bit. As for longevity we'll see!

Like other reviewers advised (and a friend who runs marathons) I ordered a whole size up. I normally wear 7.5 shoe and ordered 8.5. The width and length are great, they are incredibly light and comfortable, they feel great except for they rub my achilles (another reviewer mentioned this also). I've had them for 2 weeks now and they rub a little less, so I wear band-aids to get around blisters. They are so comfortable otherwise I didn't want to return them, and they look great!

I don't know why I ever stray from Brooks to try other brands, I always come back to them. I started running in Brooks almost ten years ago and these were my first real pair of "expensive" sneakers. NEVER skimp on your feet when running. All that time I thought I had weak ankles---it was all about the proper sneaker. Haven't had a problem since. That being said, these sneakers are great. No break in blisters of stiffness. I usually wear between a 8.5 and 9 shoe. With Brooks I go 9.5 consistently and they fit me perfect every time. Sometimes this brand runs a little narrow in the toe box, but I've tried a wide size, and it just doesn't work for me. From now on I am loyal to Brooks, I've learned my lesson.

This is my second pair of ghost 10s; I bought an 8.5 in B width (my typical size) and they fit perfect., the previous model ran big on my feet 9.5 instead of 8.5. I use these for running (20-30 miles per week) and cross fit; they provide good cushion and feel like an extension of my feet. I tend to supinate slightly, and land hard so the cushion component really helps; the happy pink color is a bonus. I also purchased a GTX and though still a great shoe I prefer the ghost. Brooks will continue to be my go to shoes for running and exercise.

I've worn New Balance shoes for over twenty years - love them. Like all the previous New Balance shoes I've owned, the original 411 was a great, comfortable shoe. However, I do not like the V2 edition of the 411. When I put them on and walked around the room, my heel felt like it was coming out of the shoe (the shoe was not too big). I promptly sent them back.

I would NOT recommend these shoes. They appear good quality but the fit is small. I even went up a size and although their is plenty of toe space the Velcro closure area is too tight. My kid does NOT have big/chubby feet but these shoes are tight, difficult to put on, & difficult to Velcro. My 2.5 yr old has been able to put on her own shoes & Velcro close for quite some time but with these she is not able to put them on or do the closure - if I knew that was going to happen I would have bought another brand with laces since I have to help every time now.

I have bought 3 pairs of these for my wife, the first pair had nothing wrong with them at all so we bought another pair. The second was badly made with the stitching in the tongue completely wonky and the toe stitched wrong making one shoe wider than the other. Under closer inspection we noticed the first good pair was made in Vietnam and the second was made in China. We got the second pair replaced but the replacements (yet again made in China) was just as bad with the right shoe nearly a full inch longer than the other. We got a full refund and when out to a shop to look for another pair, a pair was found exactly the same but made again in Vietnam and these are perfect.
We have informed Skechers that they should look into their supplier in China as they are giving them a bad name.
