I purchased these shoes for my father around Christmas, and in just about three months, the toe of the shoe has become completely unstitched! He does not wear them often, perhaps only twice a week, and there wasn't any sort of accident. The shoe simply wore out very, very quickly. This is not the New Balance quality we are used to seeing and are very disappointed!

My husband loves these . I purchased two pairs. They fit just right and are very comfortable.

Perfect! I had bought an older pair of the same 'model' a few years ago and was thinking although the tread is still good, and the original laces are still on, that I had gained weight and 'broken' the support system inside... sure enough. The new pair revealed that at cardiac rehab I definitely needed a new pair of shoes... much more 'rebound' and better support. I just use the old ones for day to day, but the new ones were exactly what I needed!

Bought in housemate's usual size and though the width was perfect, the toe box was confining to the point that it pressed his toenails down and gave him a blister. Purchased him some rayon-bamboo socks that are thinner than usual and after a week or so of breaking in the shoes, they seem to do with the new socks. Not able to wear regular dress socks or athletic socks with it. The next size up was unavailable at the time in this colour, or would have purchased those to compensate for the length. Not a bad shoe, so far it seems to be holding up well and reasonably well constructed for the price. Have always liked the amount of padding in New Balance tennis shoes!

A note on arch support - it should be fine for wearing for casual out and about or a day of flitting around, but these are not proper running or training shoes, in my opinion, if you need any sort of firm arch support. If you are looking for a daily walking or running workhorse, I personally enjoy Asics Kayano Gel line, although some of the newest iterations of that shoe have changed a bit, and not all find those changes improvements.

We love this shoe because it is one of the few that offer the extra, extra wide choices. My husband has arthritis and needs the extra wide widths. He also takes out the insole and puts in an orthotic. He was able to wear them all day the first time he put them on. We will be buying these shoes again and again. Thank you New Balance for making shoes that fit wide feet, we love you for it.

I play a lot of tennis (3.5 level). While these are training shoes, they work great for tennis too. Lightweight, durable, and they last quite awhile. I live in St. George, UT where the courts are hot in the summer time. They shoes give good protection from the heat. I will but again.

These run so small. Normal shoes I wear a 13, New Balance I have always had to get a 14 but now I am up to a 15 just to get them to fit. No thank you, I am switching brands.

I bought these for my son for use in school (unfortunately the school uniform only allows white tennis shoes). He says they are comfortable but they are too warm, making them unusable in spring/summer all day in school..

While good shoes for walking, shopping,.... They are not the best for sports, like tennis. The gell prevents firm side to side support, as well as supported forward / back motion. So 4 for comfort in basic use, take off a star since can't use for what was advertised as function.

Nice shoe, fits as expected. Its nice to finally find a company that makes shoes in larger sizes that I don't have to pay $100.00 + dollars for.

After receiving and wearing these pair of Polo’s, they fit right just like every other pair I have purchased. The shoes size fit just right in length and width. These are casual shoes with a flat sole so if you’re a person with foot pain or need support these are not the shoes for you. If you plan on wearing these shoes around and want to sport some class then these are for you. Though they have a flat sole, I have had no problem wearing these shoes out for extended periods of time and walking for long distances. In no way should these shoes be used for athletics as they will probably leave your foot sore.
        Material/Quality:
These shoes are made out of cotton/suede. Given that, they are fairly hard to keep clean. From the pairs I have worn, the white rubber along the bottom of the shoe is hard to keep looking new and fresh. With them being made of cotton/suede it stains fairly easy so keeping an eye on the weather is advised before wearing these. With this pair of polo’s, the khaki is made out of a cheaper material but gets the job done. For the build of the shoe, nothing in the shoe has fallen apart and as long as the shoes aren’t abused then they should stay together just fine. For the price they are listed, the quality given is fair.

These shoes are a nice classy addition to any casual outfit. For the price they are listed, they are a great pair of shoes and are highly suggested. Pros outweigh the cons so go with these shoes!

Dunno what went wrong here, but the shoes are too small. I wear 10.5 or 11, depending on the brand. I bought 11's here and can't even begin to fit my feet in. The shoes seem like they might be nice but they're maybe 2 sizes too small? at least 1.5.

Upon receipt I did “the inspection” to ensure I got authentic boots (not so much for brand-name prestige but because I wanted to make sure I got the real deal as the waterproof performance was only reason I ordered this boot). The printing on the box looked correct, the label on the outside seemed to match the online images, the hologram stars seemed correct, and there was a upc on the box and sole of the boot. There was NOT an enclosure in a small envelope in the box and MOST IMPORTANTLY there was NOT a upc tag sewn in the top of the boot. I returned the boots ordered through Amazon and bought directly from Ugg. Sure enough, the UPC code was sewn in the boot! If you want to be sure... order from the Ugg website.

Definitely warm. Fits true to size.
Though: Im not sure if I'm keeping it....the first time I wore it, I had to take my foot out of the boot to check if my foot was wet or just felt wet And cold.
I'm looking for a boot that is completely WATERPROOF!

I'm sad - I loved these, the foot was very comfortable. But manufacturers do not make the ankle area of the boot big enough to accommodate a size 10 foot slipping past!!! Again I struggled to get a welly boot on and off. Very disappointing because these were very well made and nice boots overall. I do think they would rub if not lined with a tall sock or worn outside pants, but I guess I'll never know!!

Speaking as someone who has never owned a pair of uggs, I did like these boots. I did spray a suede protector on them when I first got them and I've had them about a month now. I got them in the winter and we've had snow, ice, slush, or mud on the ground ever since. I have wore these boots everyday since I've recieved them. They are warm and have kept my feet dry, which makes them worth the money as far as I'm concerned. They were very stiff in the ankle area, but that only took a few days of snow and slush to work out. They have not water stained, but I'm sure that was due to the suede protector. They have not leaked, and believe me when I tell you, with all I've walked through they would have leaked by now. The shaft is stiff and stays straight but I prefer that. It makes them easier to store in my closet and easier to put on. The shaft may fall with age but with all the moisture they've been exposed to, you would have thought they would start to relax by now. I'm very pleased with these boots. They look great and are comfortable and most important they keep my feet warm and dry. If you're willing to buy a little protector and work out the small amount of stiffness, you'll have a great pair of boots for the money!

Size down. I wear a size 9 in tennis shoes, sandals, ect and a size 10 in boots. I purchased a size 10 in these and they are much too big, especially after breaking them in. I have size 9 in 2 other bear paw boots and they fit perfect
I purchased these boots in fall of 2016 and I don't dare wear them in the snow or rain. I had a pair of $200 uggs ruined after wearing them in the snow once, and I water proofed them with the ugg kit. I learned my lesson to never invest more than $50 in sheepskin shoes that are just going to get ruined if they get the tiniest bit of water on them. These are not snow boots. If you want snow boots, buy some Bear Traps. These are just Fashion slippers with a hard sole...
And my Bearpaws still look really good, in my opinion.
And that stupid white mark right where the toes sit is on my brand new Bearpaws too. It's annoying and I don't know what it is. Maybe distress marks?

I purchased a size larger than I normally wear based on a review here which said they run small. They do not. Since it's primarily a cold weather item, I can wear them with socks. Kind of defeats the nice cozy lining but, they'll be fine.

If you're hesitant about buying these, don't be! They fit completely true to size, they're warm, they're comfortable. Some people have said that the sole started to come off and whatnot but mine seem super durable. I like the shoes well enough - they are comfortable, if a bit smaller than the usual 6 size I wear - but the stitching on the seams is loose and raveled on several seams, and will pull completely out if I don't try to tie the ends. I would not recommend them for this reason.

I loved running in the regular road shoe for years, and this is just as comfy and supportive. Going trail running or hiking or just traveling where you'll be doing lots of walking? Get them.

Great fit. All my shoes are 8's and that's what I ordered. Fit great. Shoes look better than the pictures online. Wore them for 2 days so far. Comfortable no discomfort so far.

Really great, comfortable shoes. They fit perfect. I use them at the gym, and I thoroughly enjoy the way they fit. I usually go with Nike, but for whatever reason, I decided to change things up a bit. I have a new pair of Nike Downshifter 6 shoes and, while I do like the Nikes, the Asics seem much more supportive.

Good thing. Owned another pair of Gel-Venture 5 in different color and this one fits like the older pair, ACISC offers consistency, something that cannot be said of all shoe manufacturers.

Shoes fit fine and were delivered on time. This version of Asics Gel are not the same quality as the higher end Gels that I run in. I'll use these as day walking shoes though

These run small in the toe box. I'm a 12M and could not wear them. Returned. I'm an Asics fan though, their interior cushion is the best.

I'm writing this review only hours after I got these boots, and I am SO excited to try them out outside in the cold weather! I'm in Madison, Wisconsin, and this week is going to stay in the 30's and even dip into the 20's (Fahrenheit!). I will update this review accordingly, and come back in a couple months to write details on durability when it comes to some real winter weather (hello blizzards and -20 degrees!!).

The first thing I noticed out of the box is that they don't have any weird smells, which is great. The outside smell faintly of leather, because that's what they're made of. I looked up the company, and Bearpaw's boots are outside = leather, inside = sheepskin. So if you're thinking about using these in snow like me, we need to waterproof these babies! Luckily I have a spray already to use on them.

The inside of these boots is SO SOFT. If I wore these barefoot (which you can, apparently, but for me - ew! I get sweaty feet), my feet would be in heaven. I tried wearing them with bare legs to see how soft it felt (because against your hands it doesn't feel that soft, it's got kind of a soft, but wooly feel to it) and against my legs it felt so fluffy and silky, so airy!! And warm!! None of the color (I ordered Chocolate) has transferred to my socks/pants. Awesome!

Also, from ALL the pictures I browsed through on the internet, none of them had any good views of the inner lining. I really wanted to judge how thick it was before I ordered, but since I couldn't find any good pictures, I just trusted the reviews saying that they're warm enough for really, really cold winters. And the lining is decently thick - I'd say it's about an inch thick, although over time it might get compressed a little with constant wear. The soles are a different color wool than the rest (it's white instead of chocolate), but still soft and fluffy. It feels like I'm walking on down pillows, mmmm! I put up several pictures of my boots if anyone is interested - of all angles, including the lining! Here is a link to my video of the boot:
        [...]

Some of the reviews said that after a month or two the lining starts wearing off and comes off on your clothes... The lining looks pretty well made, so I don't know if that will happen, but I will update this review if it does start coming off. Hopefully not... I am really loving these!

The bottom of the boots is made of really nice, sturdy but flexible rubber and I can see this really holding up for Wisconsin winters! So excited!! It's as thick as my other winter boots, so that's great news.

        SIZE:
I read so many reviews about what size to order, and it just got confusing. There were pretty much equal amounts of reviews telling you to order down a size, or order up a size. So I went to the Bearpaw website and they suggested ordering up a size...

I usually wear a 9.5 exact (no size 9, no size 10), so I decided to order a size 10. It makes sense, because there's a layer of fluff that you have to consider when you think about how much space there is for your feet. The size 10 fits me really well. When I first put them on, they seemed a tad bit small, but after walking around in them for a few hours, they're already form-fitting to my feet.

Basically: when you order, think about what your size would be when considering an extra inch of lining around your feet, and also remember that you don't want to order too large, because they do form around your feet after some use (that lining will be squished by your walking!). If you're a half size, order the next whole size like I did. I can't speak for people who have whole sizes because I didn't have that situation, but hopefully a size up won't be too big!

On an interesting side note, I think I remember that the Bearpaw website says you can wear these in any kind of weather - and I think that's just weird? How could you wear these on a hot summer day?? These are real winter boots and your feet would hate you for that, hah!

        **** UPDATE ************************ UPDATE ************************* UPDATE ******************************************
        January 2, 2014

So good news everyone! Turns out that the fur lining does NOT rub off on your clothes/socks. I think it kind of did like the second or third day I wore it (probably because it was getting broken in), but it wasn't even that much, and after that it has NEVER happened again. The color never has rubbed off on anything, even in the beginning.

So at this point I would DEFINITELY recommend that you DO NOT buy a size up if you can get your exact size. Only order a little up if you have a half size, just because they don't sell half sizes. After breaking them in they really form fit to your feet, so don't freak out if they feel a little tight when you first get them (it's just that the lining hasn't been squished by your feet yet - think of it like getting super fluffy slippers that mold to your feet).

The boot itself is holding up phenomenal, it's so worth the money! The rubber sole looks barely touched or scuffed or worn down at all and I've been wearing them daily since I got these (so mid-November til beginning of January at this point). I used them to walk to class every day (a mile or two) and I have been running and tramping through half a foot of snow with them. Waterproofing them helps them keep dry and also miraculously keeps all traces of salt stains off - they literally look like I just got them like last week, it's amazing.

As for the stitching on the sides - before I bought them I read some reviews saying that the thread has come apart on the stitching on the outside. So far for me, the stitching has been doing really great - I think there were a couple tiny fly aways at first but it's inconsequential to the strength of the stitches (holding up real well) and no more are occurring over time.

So finally the weather has been getting really cold here (this week we are getting -45 degrees Fahrenheit with the windchill factor and several inches of snow), and I never leave the house without these boots! Actually if I wear them inside the house my feet get too warm. These keep me warm no matter what I'm doing (hiking, walking on frozen lakes, walking through snow and wind). Because of these boots, I actually don't care about the weather outside anymore! I never worry about my toes getting cold, which was a HUGE problem with some of my other boots I've had over the years, because even though the boots were thick and sturdy on the outside (hard rubber or leather), they just didn't keep my toes warm. These are life savers for a Wisconsin girl in Winter!! I don't care about people who say they would never buy them because they look like uggs - I bought these for warmth and boy do they deliver. I have always gone for comfort when it comes to apparel and this is going to be a staple of mine if they don't discontinue these for the next few decades.

I bought these a few months ago, never dreaming I would wind up touring Russia in winter. In Siberia, it got as cold as -28F. These boots SAVED MY LIFE!! My feet often get cold, but they stayed toasty warm and dry in these, even when I walked through a patch of snow that reached my calves. And they still look GREAT, too!! Extremely well-crafted. These boots are one of the best purchases I have EVER made. They blow their competition out of the water. Recommend 100%.

This is my second pair of Bearpaw boots. My first ones were bought from an actual retailer and these came in the exact same packaging as my others. Even down to the shoe box inserts. They're super comfy and soft. I feel like this will become my new collection/addiction! Here are the ones I got in charcoal. Don't mind the odd angle of my legs haha

I'm not sure what to think of these boots.... I thought it was a bit strange that they arrived in a plain box with no label and no packaging material. After examining the boots I noticed you could see some of the glue near the sole. I paid nearly $70 for the boots and was starting to feel cheated. Then I looked at the label on the heel and noticed it was off center. Since the boots ran too small I decided to return them and purchase a bigger pair. Low and behold the new pair (from a different seller) arrive in a BEARPAW box with BEARPAW packaging inside. After further examination I see the new boots are slightly shorter than the original. I also notice that the new pair has perfectly straight labels and no glue hanging off the bottom. I'll let you be the judge but I feel like these were FAKES...... See pictures below.

Bought these for my wife as an x-mas gift. fit was a bit tight in the shaft but stretched out after a few days. After 16 days they tore along the seam on the top of the boot...we put a white piece of paper in them to show the size of the tear they were worn very little not enough to tear so easy. the quality seemed well enough they seemed sturdy up to that point, also I might point out that it was an odd place for them to tear considering you pull them on it seems as though they would have ripped from the back. Amazon was wonderful as always made the return easy and issued a refund as soon as they received the item.

I just got these boots yesterday. For the longest time I could not figure out what the big deal was about this type of boot. Before purchasing these I went into the UGG store and tried on a pair of their boots. With UGG and bear paw I really don't know the difference. You're basically paying for one brand over the other. If you are looking for practicality and comfort more than a label, this is the best bang for your buck! I like bear paw because they make half size shoes (I'm 9.5). I love these so much I bought one pair in gray and one in caramel color and both pairs combined are still way cheaper than one pair of UGGS. My first time wearing the gray ones, I wore them for 12 hours straight. They fit perfectly and true to size. I didn't have any discomfort or complaints and my feet were toasty warm all day in very cold weather. I am completely happy with my purchase!

Living in Upper Michigan, I definitely know a great pair of snow boots when I wear them, and THESE are truly GREAT! I'm actually from Florida and moved up here two years ago. In that two years, I have owned about 6 pairs of boots, TRYING to find a pair that would actually keep my toes warm! I've tried some of the best names in winter boots and NONE of them have done the job. None, that is, until these! My toes are actually toasty warm, even when I'm out in sub-zero temps for HOURS at a time! I absolutely LOVE these boots! They fit EXACTLY as I expected. Having said that, I ordered a size and a half SMALLER than I normally wear in other shoes, simply based on reviews and comments here on Amazon. They actually fit well enough that I can wear these with one OR TWO pairs of thick winter socks, although I don't anticipate ever NEEDING to wear with two pairs of socks.
Most boots that claim to keep your feet warm in temps down to -40 degrees F are LYING. The comfort rating on these boots is probably accurate. I've actually worn them in temps down to -35 (with the wind chill) and my feet have NEVER been cold, not even my toes! As I said earlier, it's my toes that usually get cold in all of my other (more expensive) snow boots. If these last even ONE of our brutal winters, I will be THRILLED with them. I will say that I bought a bottle of suede/nubuck protectant to make them "water proof" and it has also done it's job. I've already worn these boots in a couple FEET of snow and NEVER had wet feet or lower legs.
At the time that I bought these boots, I believe I paid like $33 for them. I've owned other boots that cost well OVER $100 and NEVER been satisfied with them. This is, by FAR, the best $33 I have EVER spent. On ANYTHING.
Do your feet (and TOES) a favor and BUY these boots! You can't possibly go wrong with these, especially if you live anywhere in the Northern Tier.

PS- I have not been compensated in ANY way for my HONEST review of these snow boots. If Amazon feels the need to compensate me, it will be GREATLY appreciated, though. ;)

I just received my Chocolate Bearpaws. After reading some reviews, I was a little nervous about the size. I take a size 8 but in some cuts of shoe or boot I can take an 8.5. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly! My feet were in heaven as soon as I put them on. I truly cannot tell the difference between these and the Uggs. Someone commented that there was no sheepskin fur on the insole where your foot rests. There sure is and it feels great. If I had gone a size up, which for me would have been a 9, it definitely would have been way too big. These fit the same as the Uggs, at least for me. Color was true to pic. I can't see spending a whole lot of extra money when these are just as good. Also, someone said that the other brands are made in Australia and Bearpaws is made in China. You better take a look again. They are ALL made in China. None of them are made in Australia! Some said that the outer skin of the others is sheepskin while Bearpaw if Cow leather. Well, yes, Bearpaw exterior is "Suede", not sheepskin. But "Suede" is more durable, in my opinion. Both are delicate materials. However, again read labels carefully on other known brands. They all say "Leather upper"....."sheepskin lining". None of them say "sheepskin upper" so I don't know. I have a feeling they are all the same. Bearpaw does make a fake suede and fake fur at a much lesser price. These (Emma short) is the real deal. I can't wait to sink my feet in these when the weather gets colder. My friend's "Bearpaws" held up better for her than her more expensive brand. For the money, this can't be beat. And remember, for all suede and sheepskin, you need to waterproof and stainproof them before using them in rain and snow. None of these brands claim to be waterproof or stainproof. They are suede in nature, after all. So you need to be careful. I will update again once I've gotten through the winter with them to let you all know how they held up. I will not be wearing them every day at the exclusion of all other shoes and boots so I plan to enjoy these for many years to come! Stitching and seaming seem to be the same as other brands as well. Can't go wrong for the money! Came quickly. Packaging was great. Got mine directly through Amazon, not third party merchant. Sometimes that can make a difference. When dealing directly with Amazon, I have never had a problem.

I was lured by the lower cost, but now am disappointed. The shoe has very little support in the arch, but that was solved by a $15 insert. After a couple weeks of one hour daily workouts, the uppers stretched out and now there is little lateral control in the shoe. I won't buy these again.

These boots lasted less than 3 months for me. I have bought this same pair before and they lasted at a minimum the entire fall/winter. But they have slits for grip on the soles and from standard use, the slits have split all the way into the cushion on the bottom of the boots. There is probably a better tread pattern than this one.

Update: I submitted a warranty request through Bearpaw on January 10th, they approved the request on 1/16 and now it is 1/25 and I still have no tracking number like it has shipped yet. It may have shipped and I just don't have it yet. But 2 weeks in Ohio winter with no wearable boots is annoying. I don't buy lots of extra shoes, I just buy what I need so I didn't have a backup expect heavy snow boots. I feel like I should have just bought another pair and wrote these off instead of getting the warranty request.

Yes, buying shoes online can be a frustrating experience but I wasn't going to pay what they charge in store. These are an excellent deal, if only they fit. I read multiple reviews that said they fit true to size but were initially tight. My toes are still crammed after constant wear over a month. I can tolerate them on shopping trips and will wear them out around the yard but that's where it ends. They pinch my toes but are exceptionally cozy and warm. Minus my toes my feet would absolutely love these, they really do form to your foot. The material is very high quality. I wear a size 9 and sometimes that's too large depending on the manufacturer, especially in boots. I was disappointed because I wore them, expecting a break in period, so I cannot return. A ten on the other hand I tried on at a store for the heck of it and they were way too big. A 9.5 probably would have been perfect but alas, per usual, no half sizes online. Love the idea of the boots, my recommendation is if you are a half size, for example, 8.5 go up a half size to a 9 and you will love these boots. If you wear a regular size and go up a size, i.e.: from a 9 to a 10, they'll probably be too big. Obviously everyone has different feet but this would be my suggestion.

After wearing these boots to the airport for two flights- I can tell you these are the perfect cold-weather flying boots=Easy on/off at security and kept my feet warm while flying. The calf circumference measurement of 16" appears to be smaller than that, but with wear- it should stretch out some more. I have huge calves and was worried about the fit but seems to be okay due to the way the closures work. The elastic band gives quite a bit without feeling like it will break. The stitching across the top of the foot does create a weird pressure on the top of my foot but thick socks cushion it. The foot-bed is not as comfy feeling as my UGGS, but I would buy again.

I ordered a pair of these boots in another color several months ago, and have worn them pretty much every day. My winter has been much warmer than usual! I ordered 2 more pair in different colors while they're on sale. They do pack down a bit over time, but I've been happy sizing up 1/2 size, instead of down, as some advised. I usually wear a 6.5, and ordered these in a 7. A size 6 would have been too short, even with long-term wear. They're pretty wide, which I expected (my feet aren't). Sort of like wearing the most comfortable, cozy slippers ever. No arch support, if that's important to you. So far I'm impressed with the quality of these boots. Really only ordered them to be worn indoors, but have worn them everywhere all winter and they've held up well. (The soles are better on ice and snow than I had expected.) The shearling lining has made them the only boots I can wear for hours without causing sweaty (and then, cold) feet. Love these boots. Hard to imagine why anyone would pay 3x (and more) for [super-expensive brand name goes here].

I wear a size 8 and ordered a size 8. They fit perfectly. They are very warm and cozy whether I wear them with socks or not. I got my pair at a steal for only $17.00 but when I went back to order another pair (I wanted one for in the house as slippers and one for out and about) they had gone back up in price. They are definitely worth the higher price though.

I have had these for about a month now and they are still going strong even though I often end up doing my farm chores in them.... When I spill water on them it does not go through to my feet (I would probably still put the water proof spray on if you intend to wear them in wet environments for a long period of time though.)

My puppy chewed two toggles off (UGH!) - but I went to the bearpaw website and it turns out you can order replacements with no shipping charge. SO I really have nothing but good things to say about these boots. I have bought my daughter several pairs and they always hold up well. I am so glad that I finally decided to get a pair for myself!

My daughter loves these boots. Value and comfort for sure! She had one pair for about 2 years until they wore out.

When I bought her a new pair in gray a few weeks ago I noticed that depending on color and size, the price varied. No problem, I get it is a matter of supply and demand. The ones I ordered were $43.

Then last week I also ordered another pair in black, and the price was just over $50. Not a problem, I felt it was still a great deal. I finalized placing the order, then today I went back on Amazon to check the delivery status,. I found that my order had disappeared, the boots were now moved to my "wish list" and the price was up to about $83. What's up, Amazon? - How can the price go up over $23 AFTER the order has already been placed? I cry foul about this. The boots were advertised at the $50 price, I ordered them at that price and the order should have been fulfilled.

I bought these boots to have something warm to wear to work, since our office building is very old and drafty. While they serve their purpose of keeping me warm, the shaft looks like banana peels being pulled back. I guess if I just stood in them and didn't walk the boots would not flare out as they do. But we all know we cannot get through any day just standing in 1 place and never taking a step. I should have just bitten the bullet and bought the other, more expensive brand. I've only owned them for like 2 months and have worn them about once a week. They look like untied combat boots where the sides and tongue fold out and down. Not impressed whatsoever with the style. I've even thought about getting a giant stapler to keep them more together/secure, but that's pretty lame to do. This will be my 1st and last pair of Bear Paws.

Just got my blue Bearpaw in, came in earlier than expected, packaged well. Brand new in the box great quality. The buttons are not just for looks they do function so that you can fold your boots down. I wear a size 8 and ordered a size 8 they are snug, but it's recommended that you order your normal size as they do stretch a bit. I have been walking around the house in them for a few hours and they are starting to get a bit looser. Definitely a good investment as I won't need to buy more boots for a few winters.

After these arrived I wore them to store and compared them to the UGG brand. These are thicker and more stout than the UGG’s which keeps the top from folding down to show off the fur..... With The UGG’s... the fur inside and suede outside is one piece. There is no sewn seam to hold the liner and suede together.Because it is one piece the UGGS have more flexibility to allow for folding. With the Bearpaw brand. It is clear the suede and fur are separate and are sewn together adding to the thickness. This is why these boots don’t fold down easily to show off the fur. The lining puffs out when you fold the tops down....so if you are buying them for this purpose get the UGGs. My niece in her 20’s compared both and she really liked the UGGs flexibility. Is it worth the extra 90 dollars? You can be the judge of that. As far as the lining... the heal fur was thin and I noticed an inconsistency with the fur lining in both my BearPAWs and some of the UGGs in the store. It appears since it is a natural product your going to get inconsistent results. However as far as fur and suede between the brands they were hard to tell apart except for what I mentioned. That being said since the heals were thin on my pair, and I could not fold them down I gave them 3 stars. For an old girl like me I’m glad I saved the money. My sister and niece at first glance thought they were UGGs and my husband said I looked cute in my new boots. They are very comfortable and I don’t believe the UGGs can justify their price. BearPAWs are a good affordable alternative if you don’t care about name....

So, after wanting a pair of "fuzzy" boots for years, but not wanting to pay bookoo $$$ for Uggs, I discovered Bearpaw. Where do I begin? These boots are sooo comfy! Great for wearing without socks. They keep your feet warm and dry but are not overly hot. Some other reviews I read said that they ran small, but I ordered a size 9 (I usually wear an 8 or 9 depending on the shoe) and they fit perfectly! I decided on the abigail style because I have large-ish calves and was worried about being able to get the boot on. This style is also great because I can easily tuck my boot cut jeans into it (I am not one of the privileged few who look good in skinny jeans). The sole is sturdier than it looks in the pictures. As for traction, this style doesn't look like it would be that safe to wear on icy days, but I haven't tried it out yet. Probably better for going to the mall than shoveling your driveway. Anyway, I ordered black (because it goes with everything!) but can definitely see myself ordering more colors in the future! Glad that I finally decided to get some of these boots!

So far, so good. I have mostly been wearing them around my house and for Quick trips outside. They are much higher quality than I was expecting given the reviews but they seem really well stitched, sturdy, and I love that they have rubber soles. I bought a 7 which is what I usually wear and they fit comfortably with socks and there's just a little extra room if you're not wearing socks. The boot fits comfortable around my calves (14in at widest point), not too snug or lose (I can fit my hand in there). I also waterproofed them using a spray and have not noticed a huge difference in color so that is nice. Happy to have these for winter, Will update if anything changes .

Update: After only occasional light wearing, think quick trips outside with dogs and one wear to work, some stitching on the outside of the boot has started to come undone and the fabric has become loose :( Disappointinh after such a short amount of time and very little wear. They are otherwise very comfortable and warm!

These are my fourth pair of Bearpaw boots. The last two pairs I had last me a few years before I decided they weren't acceptable to wear outside of the house anymore lol. These boots are super comfortable and plush when you first buy, but the inner sole does start to wear away after a while and it just feels flat in the shoe, not plushy and soft. One the up side, the rest of the shoe wears like your favorite pair of jeans each time you wear them. They definitely keep your feet warmer than a pair of sneakers or flats and are stylish to boot. I'm glad that Bearpaw decided to get rid of the metal logo hardware that they used to put on the back of the heel and the side of the boot. My hardware came off all of my boots and looked so tacky. I probably could have gotten another year out of those if it wasn't for that. I love this company and these boots, and will definitely be buying a few more pairs.

As an aside: Buy the super hydrophobic spray LiquidOff to preserve the suede on these. You won't regret it and they sell it on Amazon.

These are very warm, rugged, comfortable, nice-looking ugg-type shearling boots. However, they run very small in length with very little room for toes, while at the same time they are also too wide. I normally wear a women's size 11, but I purchased size 12 since so many of the reviews say to go up a size, and I'm glad I did. These 12s are still a little on the short side & crowding my toes, while simultaneously slipping/too wide in the heel. Makes me think these are assembled on a Men's last, not Women's. Also, the shaft is not sheepskin but cowhide, with an extra layer of sheepskin/fleece on the inside, which makes them stand up & look really fat. Ok if you have thinner legs like I do, I guess, but on someone who has larger calves these boots simply would not work. I'm keeping this pair because the price was great, but next time I'll get Uggs.

The first time I ordered these I had to send them back and get a size up because they were WAY TOO SMALL. Like my foot was squished and my calf was suffocated. I'm normally a size ten so I ended up getting these in a size 11 and they were way better. The calf was still a little tight though so if you don't have super skinny calves either then you may even want to go two sizes up. The packaging I received the boots in was terrible- like went through a shredder and survived terrible. I have a feeling it may have been because it wasn't through prime shipping when I got these? I don't know. I think in the description it tells you that these shoes will stretch- they don't - what you feel is what you get, so make sure they feel good. My boots are still in really good quality and I have worn them periodically over the last few months and they've held up really well. They are super cute too so I'm overall happy that I got them.

I'm a recent convert to this style of shoe, but I work in a really casual office that's FREEZING and needed something comfortable and warm - these are so perfect, they're my new favorite winter boot. Suede is great quality, as is the Sherpa lining.

Sizing Note: I've read many reviews that stated they got the shoe way too big, and others recommending that you go to Bearpaw's website to figure out the correct size - both of those points are incorrect. Bearpaw recommends sizing 1-2 sizes UP because of the thick lining of the shoe - I believe that's why people are mistakenly ordering the wrong size.

I went with another reviewer who suggested to order a size down because the lining will pack in around your foot and you'll end up with more room - so thankful for that suggestion - I'm a 6.5, ordered a 6 - the first few days of wear, yes the shoes were tight - but sure enough the lining has packed inside and they now fit perfectly - there's actually enough room for me to put an insert in these so I have more arch support.

BEARPAW is a quality boot and a cost effective alternative to UGG (for my 8 year old daughter).
We have been buying them for a few years now, 1~2 pairs per season.
We loved the color of these boots but unfortunately they are too small and not the size 5 that we ordered.
In the photo I placed them heel to heel with a locally bought size 5 BEARPAW boot.

I've purchased 3 pairs of Bearpaw's of Emma 12" in the last 3 years or so and so far, the latest 2 pairs are the best due to the redesign of the sole. The lst pair I purchased, the sole cracked immediately after wearing them, parts of it actually fell off so, they became unwearable and I spent aprox. $40 but had to throw them away.

The redesign hasn't caused any sole cracking or loosening from the suede boot. There is a slight issue tho. I stepped in my cat's throw up (gross I know) and it got into the deep tiny grooves of the design in the sole. I had to use toothpicks to dig it out because using water & a scrub brush could not reach inside those tiny grooves. It took forever to clean each tiny groove and the toothpicks would break in the process. This was so frustrating!

The sole design is cute but not practical due to the fact that you're going to step in something eventually and if you want to keep the soles clean and not track goop around, you'll need to reach the goop in those teeny grooves. Uggs don't have grooves on their soles (or my pair doesn't) and they're much easier to keep clean. Bearpaw should design the soles so that they can be cleaned easily and so no yucky goop collects inside those teeny tiny grooves.

Edit: Last winter (2017) the soles split on these as well. Even with the new soles, it didn't keep them from splitting. I never wear them outside so, these must be fragile just like the former soles.

I have a pair of Uggs from 10 yrs ago and the soles are just as intact as the day I purchased them. I know they're very expensive but I've purchased now so many pairs of Bearpaw....I could have just bought a 2nd pair of Uggs! Sometimes, quality IS expensive and there's no getting around it ...darn it, it's just the truth.

The product is great! However the packaging appeared to be nice at first since the boots came in their "bear paw" box, but when I opened the box not only did I find the shoes, but I received an additional half-empty bag of chips.
The ship crumbs were all over the shoes! Gross! I was able to wipe the chips off... But why?

In the past 3 years, I have bought 4 styles of Asics running shoes and these are my favorite!

My sell points for determining that these are "good" sneakers:
1.) Toe Space - I have problems with my toes going numb if I don't have adequate room in the toe box. To accommodate, I usually order a size 10 and lace up tightly (when I wear a 9 or 9.5) in regular shoes. This causes my shoes to typically wear faster in the heels because they side around a little, but my toes don't go numb after my daily 4 mile trail hike.
2.) Comfort - This includes arch support and overall cushioning. I have bad knees, so I can tell when the cushioning starts to go in sneakers. Mine last almost 3 months exactly when worn for 4 miles daily.
3.) Cuteness - Sorry to be vain but I want sneakers to be cute and have pink on them. These are the only kind I buy. Judge me if you must ;)
4.) Easy to put on / take off - I hate untying my shoes, so I love that these have a loop in the back so I can slip them on with minimal unlacing (lazy).
5.) Doesn't cake-in dirt/mud - When on loose dirt trails, I often encounter dirt & mud that gets caked into my soles, so I favor the Asics styles over, say K-Swiss because the soles don't have a lot of "hiding places" for mud to get packed into.

        I compared:
ASICS Women's Gel-Venture 5 - My all time favorite for toe space as well as cushion and arch support and wears well.
ASICS Women's Gel-contend 3 - Wider in the arch area but narrow in the toes and heels.
ASICS Women's Gel-scram 2 - Great toe space but not much arch support to speak of (super-cute though!)
ASICS Women's Gel Frequency 2 - Actually a walking shoe and built much less "tough" and more lightweight but has a flimsy feel to it and comes up short against the back of the heel, so it fit kinda weird.

When I say these shoes "wear well" I mean that they don't look like they are falling apart even after much use/wear. The only indicators of wear that they show are some wear on the inside of the heels but probably only because I wear a half size too big on purpose, and also some fraying where the inner fabric (pink) meets the lace holes. (See pics)

Overall, I love these shoes the best of all I've tried in Asics as well as Adidas, Saucony, Vibram and K-Swiss and won't be straying from the Gel-Venture 5 shoes again. I love them and don't think it gets any better than this :)

Shoe looks trashed after less than 2 months of wear. Heel area had a faux stacked look-- actually just covered in paper! The paper is all torn and peeling, and the material underneath is very unattractive. These are now basically junk.

The fabric of the upper is itself waterproof but the seam where it joins the waterproof rubber bottom is not waterproof. I will be returning them for another model by the same brand that is "waterproof seam sealed". I should have read more carefully. It is a well thought out design and seems extremely durable. The removable liner is convenient for sizing to the child's foot and for drying out wet boots. It does not come out by accident when the kid just slips their foot in and out. The sinch on the upper collar makes it easy to put the pant leg over or under. We had a second problem where they're too narrow on my child. We do occasionally buy wides for her which will be the next pair we get from Kamik. They work with thin socks which is fine since they seem so warm on their own. But with the water problem and the fit problem it is just not worth the hassle. Overall it seems like a good product if your puddles are not deeper than 2". The "waterproof" upper will shed snow just fine, but not standing in super deep puddles. Try telling a 2 yo that!

Great concept but I'm soooo disappointed in the sizing of these. My son wears a size 7 right now so I got these in a size 8 hoping he will have a little room but the warm insert in these was at best a size 5!!! I ultimately took the warm insert out (which defeats the whole purpose of buying these shoes) and we now just use these for waterproof quality with three pairs of socks for warmth. Without the insert there is plenty of room and they seem to be a true 8. So I would say the flaw is in the design... If I was to get the size that would fit my son's foot with an insert, his feet would look gigantic... given he is 3.5 years old he would probably end up falling all the time.

I really like these boots for my kids. 7 year old son has red and 9 year old daughter has pink. They hold up really well. Her feet are actually sweaty hot when she comes in from hours in the snow. His are slightly chilled but I think that is just him - they are honestly the first boot he's had that he hasn't complained about his feet being cold - including a pair of UGGS snow boots I had found him last year. They hold up really well. I've gotten two seasons out of my daughter's and they look brand new. I don't know if you can wear them all day comfortably because my guys don't make it much past 2-3 hours in the snow. I don't know about the arch support, they just don't complain about these ever which is a big step!

Really like this boot. It is very warm and comfortable to wear-no break in needed. I originally purchased this for the cheap cost and because my feet have swelled up with pregnancy. These boots open up easily with their elastic button closure and make swelling a non-issue. I do love that the bottoms have great grip-a must when you’re especially wary of falling. The boots did come with a bit of a smell, but a few days of airing out solved that. Overall good purchase, especially for the price.

I love these boots! I usually wear a 7-7.5 and due to all of th reviews I went ahead and bought an 8. They fit great and my feet didn’t slip around in them. Just the perfect amount of snug. I really put them to the test and wore them to help my mother move in to her new house in the snow and ice. First off, it was in the single digits most of the day and I never felt like my feet got cold. I never felt like I was going to slip because the soles are sturdy and have good traction. The snow never soaked through my boots and my feet never got wet. Plus, for being on my feet ALL.DAY (8am-11pm) they were extremely comfortable. I am definitely going to buy another pair, possibly in another color and definitely when I wear this pair out!

These beauties just arrived at my front door. I must say, I was a little shocked they came a day early, but fully satisfied. I opened the box and there was a shoe box inside, inside of the shoe box were two beautifully wrapped boots which upon further inspection were clear of any blemishes and imperfections. I am so happy I ordered these babies! They fit like a dream, perfectly wide around my lower calf--my legs are muscular and wide--and I ordered the 9.5 B MEDIUM because of the reviews about how they fit a little smaller than they should. This is very true, I normally wear a 9, but the 9.5 fits perfectly. :-)

I have about six pairs of Ariat Fatbaby boots in various colors and materials, and five pairs of various other Ariat women's' styles. They consistently run true-to-size, are comfortable, and last forever. They also garner a lot of admiring comments from strangers in airports, for some reason. I love the brand and these are no exception. Ariat boots aren't just for the equestrian set; they have fashion and work boots, and uniformly deliver fit, function, and durability. I prefer them to my more expensive Frye boots, and will remain a loyal customer for myself or when I need a nice gift.

These were the first boots I have bought online. Normally, I go to the store and try them on. The last pair I bought was Ariat Fatbaby Collection in 6.5B, they were tight (as all my boots when I first buy them), but after 1-2 weeks they fit good. So... I figured I would order my next pair from Amazon, same brand and collection, and same size. The color is lighter than pictured, which I really like the color they actually are, compared to the picture. The boot fits quite loosely. I can slip my foot in the boot without bending over and yanking it on. Hopefully, the boot will not expand any more, as then it would be too big. I was surprised the boot fit as loosely as it does. I have had them for almost a week, and they seem like they are going to work out. I wouldn't be able to go to a size 6, it would be too small length wise. Overall I really like the boot!

I originally ordered the size 11W, which was nice and wide, but a little bit too long for my foot. I then ordered the same boot from the same seller in a 10.5W and I was surprised to receive a different boot. As you can see from the picks, they look similar from the front, but the sole is completely different and the stitching is different. The real problem is that the 10.5W was much more narrow, The 11W is on the right side in the pics and you can see the difference in width. The 10.5W was good in length for me but much too narrow, I confirmed on the label that it was a wide width, but the fit was totally different from the 11W. Be aware that the fit and style you receive may vary

Have had great luck with many CAT boots in the past. Decided to try these based on personal past experience with the brand and other reviews. These were terribly uncomfortable, and you can't remove the insoles to replace with another one, it was glued in place, I had to rip it out and scrape off the chunks. Put in some upgraded insoles that I've used before, they helped a little, but still very uncomfortable. They do seem to be durable enough though if you can stand to wear them.

Just received my second pair of these. I got a yr out of the last pair. You may be thinking that 1 yr is not very long for heavy duty boots. For you, probably. Mine are worn 70 hrs a week and put through hell. I WAS buying the $140Timberlands and Wolverines for years and they only lasted 1 yr also. I have a wide foot and sooner or later it tears the stitching away. These are half the price and almost as well built as Wolverines...almost. If you don’t have to buy a pair every year like me then splurge for the big name brands, they’ll be slightly more comfy but won’t last any longer.

I have now bought two pairs of these boots.

        They are okay.

They are not overly comfortable, but they get the job done and are not terrible.

My first pair lasted...period. Only got a new one when I did because my employer pays $75 towards a new pair every year so...why wouldn't I?

I am a truck driver who both drives and spends quite a bit of time unloading and the toes in these boots certainly have saved me quite a bit of pain and actually become useful for kicking things like pallets around, saving my back a bit.

Point: These are well made, durable, sturdy boots. A good buy for less than $100. The only two things I do not like about them that make these boots lose a star are:

1- The strings kind of suck. They broke fast and are overly stretchy for my liking. This is a minor issue, as nice strings are quite inexpensive (couple of dollars).
2- The boots could be more comfortable and the padding inside wears down within the first few months.

Overall, a solid inexpensive pair of boots that could last up to two years, but I would advise, for comfort sake, replacing at least yearly.

I do not usually leave reviews but these boots need to be hyped up so that they make them forever. I am a military veteran, current military civilian instructor, automotive hobbyist, and home handyman who is generally always around heavy objects and very dirty, slippery, oily environments a few times every single week both at work and home - and I can honestly say that these are some of the best work boots I have ever owned. Especially for the cost, which is far lower in price than lower quality workbooks such as Doc Martens Industrial (comfortable but not durable even though they have premium pricing) and any other similarly priced boot lot these Cats like Dickies (because they are usually close to $50). Not only were they very comfortable right out of the box, but the slip resistance and oil resistance is noticeably better than any other boot I have ever worn to work (military warehouses, tanks, shipping containers, industrial stuff that flattens toes and ruins work shoes) and they maintain a better clean look that allows me to still wear them with business casual work clothes as well. I could not be more satisfied not only in these boots, but knowing that I can grab another pair in a few years for the same great price.

The only negative is having to spend the time to use a Sharpie to color over the VERY yellow CAT and CATERPILLAR logos so that I am not a walking advertiesement for tractors but I guess that makes them an art project too so right on. Cheers to these boots.

I bought these boots in November. It's only mid-February and I have to throw them away. I live in Minneapolis, MN and we have winter here. Therefore, I wore my boots pretty much every day - walking my dog, taking public transit, etc. I did not expect these boots to last forever based on the price but I did think I'd at least be able to make it to spring. I was wrong. The seam between the sole and the rest of the shoe has split, meaning I have gaping gashes which let snow seep in. The sole itself seems to be crumbling internally, leading to bumps and holes directly below my heel. The outer materials are flaking and falling off.

I would only recommend these for people who live in warm climates who need boots for a week-long trip North. Even then, you're better off finding something without a zipper which also lets in moisture.

I thought I was buying a cheap pair of “cute” boots that wouldn’t last a winter. I was apparently wrong.

I moved to the UP of Michigan without any winter gear last summer and tried cheaping out on as much as I could and buy nicer stuff over the course of the next few years. This was one of those things I got. To give you an idea of winter here: it started snowing mid October and hasn’t stopped since. We get 50-100 inches of snow... a month here. So I wear these snowboots every single day, regardless of where I’m going. I dress up for church, business casual for work, dress down for shopping, and everything in between. I have gotten countless compliments on these boots in all situations. So they’re cute, score! Very comfortable too. I hate shoes, constantly call shoes evil, but I don’t quite mind having these on my feet. They aren’t awfully restricting like some boots can be.

They are also water proof. I can step into a few inches of water and my socks stay dry. I can march through a foot of snow and my feet stay dry. These boots have plenty of traction. They aren’t good for running across ice, but I can certainly walk across it carefully without slowing down too much.

The one thing these are not is warm. Which is fine, wool socks and toe warmers go a long way if you’re standing in 0° for long.

In all, I love these boots. They don’t look terrible worn after four months of constant ware. I expect to get two seasons out of these at least. If they end up not making it to May, I’ll update this review, but I’m not seeing them suddenly fall apart any time soon. All in all, these are super worth the money.

        Updated review:
Holy hell, these boots are GARBAGE. I've had them for a little over three weeks, I wear them maybe twice a week to my office job where I sit at a desk all day, and I live in southern California where there is absolutely no rain or bad weather - and the verdict? THESE BOOTS WENT TO s***. The leather is all bent and warped, the seams are fraying, they are horribly distressed looking. They look like boots I've beaten the s*** out of for ten years and never cared for. I have several other brands of boots that I have resoled over and over again over the years and have had professionally cleaned and maintained. These boots will fall apart years before the sole needs repair. How is it that the rest of the boot falls apart in three weeks, when the sole has only encountered only a couple of miles of wear? They look like trash. I would give them zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY.

        Previous review:
Giving 4 stars for now but I've only worn them for 2 days so TBD. There is already a LOT of wear and tear just from wearing them for two days to my office job. Knicks all over the leather. Creases in front of the ankle. A thread hanging off the back. They are DAMN nice looking boots though. I'm hoping that the fast wear and tear is designed to give them character, because overall they feel like a great quality boot. So far I'm pleased, but like I said: TBD.

These boots are great. Stylish and comfortable. I can wear them all day despite the joint problems. Feet do not get hot - perfect summer boots.
I wear 7.5 and I got 7.5 and the size is just right.
On the side note: leather stains. Someone dropped a piece of apricot on the shoe so I had to wipe it with water right away. The area I washed looks darker when it dried. There is no dirty spot from fruit juice. The color is just darker now. So I wiped both boots with water entirely and now they are same darker color. BTW, I like the new color :) So maybe spray them with suede protector before going out.

Update: I've been wearing these in rain (and some snow) for about two months now and thought I'd share an updated photo.

Love these boots. I ordered my usual size, and they fit just right. I live in the Pacific NW so I applied Sno-Seal to mine to prevent the type of water damage I saw in a photo posted by another reviewer. Sno-Seal always darkens the leather, but I actually prefer the slightly darker color. The boot on the left has been Sno-Sealed, the boot on the right has not.

I have been looking for a boot I could wear daily- with leggings, pencil skirts, jeans, or anything- to replace my suede furry winter boots- and these amazing boots have changed my life! As a teacher, I need to be able to make it through the day on my feet- so comfort is important! What I did not expect was that they would be almost as comfy as a pair of slippers, but with that modern appeal and fresh spring look I wanted. I loved them so much I immediately ordered them in black as well. I have bunions on both feet, which can be quite painful with the wrong fit- and the C/D width is just perfect for me. I usually have to size up to accommodate the bunions, which causes all kinds of odd fitting heel slip. etc. With these, I stayed with my real size and just hoped they would be wide enough- and YAY for me!!! I want to wear them everywhere I go.

Fit just right and the best shoe I've ever worn.

I have high arches, meaning my feet tend to roll outward, placing a lot of my weight on the outer corners of my feet. After sever foot pains and a Dr visit, I purchased my first high end shoe (Asics) They worked well, but after a year I needed to replace them (which is normal). Explaining my foot issue to a high end store rep, who I thought could help... He gives me a $140 pair of Asics. I get them home and the pain in my feet became excruciating. 3 months past by, and I'm committed to my walking but I finally can't take the pain anymore. Come to find out he gave me shoes for the opposite problem. Forcing my feet even more pressure! I looked and looked for another pair of Asics that worked for high arches and couldn't seem to find an affordable, good looking pair that describes what I needed. So I googled best shoes for high arches and these Brooks Ghost came up. They had great reviews, so I give it a try.

To get to the point of my review...

1 week later and I'm up to 4 miles a day with a pep in my walk. Best damn shoes ever. I'm 5'4" and weigh 214 lbs. My shoes take the shock of the weight and guide my foot properly, and they look amazing (a total bonus). Its worth every penny I spent and I'm sold for life. Way to go Brooks!! Make sure you select a pair of shoes right for your feet and arches (low, neutral, and high)

These shoes are magical. I mean really, I LOVE these shoes. They are the perfect balance of cushioning while still being lightweight enough to get a quick turnover (purchased new glycerines as well, but these just feel lighter and not as "clunky" if that makes sense). I've had each model of the ghost since the ghost 5 came out. Wasn't crazy about the 8's...just felt too stiff but this shoe just may be my favorite. There's no period of having to "wear in" this shoe and it feels like your walking on clouds. Kudos, Brooks.

I bought these when I have to get near the ocean water when it's cold in San Francisco when I do metal detecting. The opening can be closed snug so the water waves will have a harder time going in. The fit is just slightly big, just the way I want it for comfort. The padding and knot will keep my feet from coming out too. I have cheap water boots that is made for the same purpose but with those, a high wave will certainly come in easily.

This is my second pair of NB 623s that I've purchased. My first pair was purchased over 1 year ago and were extremely comfortable as an everyday walking shoe. I put over 650 miles on my first pair, just from my 2.5-mile morning walks. As you can see from the picture, after hundreds of walking miles, the rear sole began to wear out. The NB623s are not only comfortable, they clean-up well, too. My new pair of NB623s fit perfectly and I'm looking forward to another year of walking comfort. I take leaving reviews seriously, and should I experience any issues with the new pair of NB623s, I will update my review.

Like most Amazon shoppers, I count on honest, unbiased reviews. I hope you have found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.

This shoe is very cute, and we wanted to like it. However, the shoe is soooooo stiff that my daughter absolutely hates putting them on. Once they are on, they fit well. I have tried to work the opening of the shoe for several days to "break it in" so my daughter can put them on without hurting her fingers, but the stiffness is incredible and persistent. I will never buy this brand of shoe again.

These fit me and my size 7 feet. I ordered a 7 in black and that's exactly what I received. I had actually forgotten I had bought these until reviewing my comments I realized that I haven't touched them yet. Just to try on. They fit perfectly right out of the box. I own several pairs of Bearpaw boots and I really like this company and their boots and moccasins. They're well made and if taken care of properly can last several winters. I switch them around so nothing is worn out. They'll still be in decent shape when I'm ready for another pair so I can pass them on. They do stretch with wear. Not a great deal but enough if you're wearing thick socks with them. Plus, they're very cute! Oh! Waterproof them if you're going to be wearing them in wet weather. Besides being half the price (or more) of that other brand.

I size larger after reading the reviews, which proved to be a good choice the size up fits well. These boots are very warm and was a good purchase.

I am a 6.5 or 7. I read the reviews and ordered an 8 - it was too big. I ordered a 7 and it fit very well. However, I do not wear socks with them - if so, they would likely be tight. I have some issues with bunions and need a shoe that runs wide in order to be comfortable and this boot is fine and comfortable. They are warm as well.

i haven't worn these yet and would never attempt to wear them all day as i have plantar fascitis and don't think they would be comfortable. i am a manager in retail and am on my feet 100% of the time i am working, i don't think these are the right kind of shoes for that. they are very cute and look forward to wearing them next winter.

My Wife : "Wear these all the time! They are great to slip on and leave the house all day. Or just slip on to take the dogs out. They fit as expected. I have owned many bear paw boots and these are by far my favorite!!"

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn. I have had 2 pairs of Brooks Ghost shoes. I least like the color.

Having worn a pair from a well known country store for a long time, I'm so glad I tried the real thing, especially as they were about the same price. They fit perfectly, however I'm actually a size 6.5 and bought a 7 as there were no half sizes. It may be necessary to buy a pair a little on the large size? Looking forward to spending the next 5 years in these - festivals and camping here we come ;-)

They are great for anyone who has not got sensitive soles of feet. I have had to put soft inner soles in mine mainly due to arthritis and age

Crocs are the most comfortable footwear I have had in a long time.
Just wish they were more attractive, as I would like to wear them always and with any outfit.

I had just got a German shepherd dog and needed a pair of walking boots for the fields etc, I read the reviews above and these boots are spot on, I've worn them every day since I got them (2 tiny blisters on backs of heels) but they are roomy and are waterproof, with all the recent rain and snow (in April) they have done the job. I'm more than happy with them. :0)
